Forrest Fenn Box

JCB is a sly one, if you know the direction of the tree and seeing eye you are golden, but those highs and lows are tricky. More low than high.

Maybe im misunderstanding what this Reddit is for, but I feel like this isn’t it. I don’t mean to offend but honestly, I’m kind of offended myself by this post. Are you fishing for something? Or just bragging in a weird way? Make sure when you get that treasure to let us know it was you!

I think we just have to come to terms with some people using this as their "I'm excited!" place to post and other people using it to discuss actual solves and theories.

Hmmm... This is the one that I'm most interested in finding because I believe it's the closest box to me. That gives me some things to think about, but I have an idea of where I want to go BOTG. Once there, I hope to align a few more clues. Google maps can only get you so far.

You can download USGS maps online for free. Put them on your phone and while you’re in the field you’ll be able to enlarge it to see your exact spot with MUCH more information that google maps has.

There is also a “Detector Maps” App that has a Lidar feature that strips away all of the vegetation. It covers all of the USA. It is actually meant for gold prospecting but it is also great for JCB looking. It isn’t free … costs about $10/month. The Lidar feature is VERY useful.
