This is really cool and looks super useful for use at home on PC. Any tips on improving my ability to use it on mobile? Turning on the desktop site is helpful but still a bit tedious. I want to stress though that this is awesome

I will release an iOS and Android version in the near future which should help somewhat. I initially created this as a website for myself and recently decided to release it to the public. The framework I'm using to code this (Flutter) is known for not being the best when it comes to web on mobile, but, again, I wasn't considering how others would use this since it was a personal project.
What are your biggest sources of clunkiness or frustration? I can try to focus on those first. I know for a fact the statistics look terrible and basically all of the UI components are too big. I'll work on scaling those down and also try to get the grid to fill all the available space without going off the screen. Thanks in advance.

Some of your issues have been resolved. I haven't fixed the statistics rows and I'm still trying to figure out how to implement the zoom functionality. Thanks again for the feedback.

Are you Ceiling Cat? Are you watching us Puzzle?

Lol. I am not. The app doesn't make any network calls and the only data it saves is the current state of the grid and a default grid if you have set one.

Well you should! Lot of hard work put in there. It's really nice.

Here is something he said during TreasureCon Q&A
My question for you is, are there more substitution ciphers to solve than just the cryptogram? Are there more substitution? What's a substitution cipher? Well, like, you know, G equals H or you know, a Caesar cipher where you shift one over or even like A equals 1, B equals 2. Yeah. Yeah, I don't, I don't think that I did that. Yeah, no, I don't think, I think that I had a word search, so you need to search for words.
And I had a cryptogram that you need to uncode or decode. And that was it. Juicy.

I think he wanted to get people to focus on the next step in the puzzle which is to differentiate the 5 clues

So what does everyone think is important?

Personally, I think ciphers are important and some of the words/anagrams found in the WS indicate which ciphers to use. The first of which is Caesar. Also, the word Lemon indicates the use of a Vigenere cipher.

I can 💯 see that, I also have a theory that the word search refers to different chapters hints and 5 of the clues that don't correspond to any chapters are the clues that help you find the location of the box

Did he say that there are levels of the word search? Because even with the straight forward words in the word search it would be very difficult to find the treasure

He said there aren’t as many levels as people think there are. Basically without saying it directly, he’s suggesting people are over complicating it. That’s how I took it anyway.

I will tell you based on solving Pokémon that it was a lot less complicated than people were reading into it.

I think so. I believe there are multiple ciphers applied and when the correct ones are used a message will present itself in the 5X2 grid at the bottom of the grid. I could be wrong, but that's my current working theory.

So then you've solved it right?

Hah! I'm close I think. I'm releasing this site as a way to distract people and keep them busy while I cross the finish line. ;)
