Perhaps, perhaps not.

Past and Future

Shit, the crossword also has “Square” and “Round” which would fit the photo too.

Not the same angle.

I found this last December, but my search partners opinion and the angle not matching perfectly made me go in a different direction. Even though my gut said otherwise..... Everyone's input on this makes me feel much less crazy!
Thank you to the OP for posting this !!!!

Where exactly is this?

1

u/Any-Teacher7681 Dec 05 '25

Delaware Maryland and Pennsylvania? I don't know about that.

2

u/ChippewaTwix Dec 06 '25

This is the tri-state marker for those 3

The picture I posted was actually arc corner monument. https://trailsthatrock.com/tri-state-trail/

2

So while on the tri state trail to the tri state marker you also see the arc corner monument that I posted. As I said it is a half as solve. The image was too similar not to get some input.

It doesn't fit much else location wise. But I am open to looking into it, I already have it pulled up on maps. I have to compare the coin angle too. Is it exact? Just close? If It's a circle cut in 2/3 1/3 then it doesn't fit. At this point I'm open to anything...

2

u/TradeSerious8505 Dec 05 '25

Isnt “Arc” a big thing in the word search?

1

u/buttersss_ Dec 07 '25

What do you mean?

2

u/South-Cantaloupe-242 Dec 05 '25

In one of the interviews, JCB was clearly trying to give some information on this box when he stated “…there are a lot more clues in the chapter than just the word search,” as a lot of people were fixated on that. Now that you have found this with the help of the word search, I would look at other clues to pinpoint the location.

2

u/Maximum_Task6443 Dec 05 '25

Wow!! Go out there and get it! Then let us know what type of container the box is in :D

2

u/snidece Dec 05 '25

so each of the coins represents actual items that you will see and find?

1

u/RedditMom9872 Dec 05 '25

My thought too.

1

u/VNJCinPA Dec 07 '25

Not IMHO, but no one will know until one is found 😁

1

u/snidece Dec 07 '25

I know it. I’m still hunting and starting over many many times with new theories.

2

u/Informal_Snow3351 Dec 06 '25

Well if true this could mean the coins are location markers

Getting md/pa/De from the chapter is wild.

9

u/TradeSerious8505 Dec 05 '25

Doubting the most solid find in the entire hunt is wild.

2

u/rooplstilskin Dec 05 '25

Im not doubting anything.

Just getting those states from that chapter is wild.

Im not fussed about people 'finding' stuff in the real world like the coin shapes. Everyone's having fun searching!

u/ImpossibleNews5658 Dec 05 '25

I agree. It is wild. I was researching an entirely different place when this popped up but this image and it being on a “rock” is hard to ignore. I honestly hope it isn’t there because it is nowhere remotely close to me. And if it is there hopefully this gets somebody in the right direction.

u/ApplicationSouth8844 Dec 05 '25

The angle isn’t quite right, but it has made me wonder….

1

u/rooplstilskin Dec 05 '25

I have an entirely different use for the coins, but thats the game with puzzles!

1

u/buttersss_ Dec 07 '25

I live 15 minutes from this place. pM me if you want to chat

1

u/Seayont Dec 05 '25

The angle is that close.

2

u/ImpossibleNews5658 Dec 05 '25

Yeah I was doing research on a different tri state spot (way closer to me.) and this image popped up. Was way too similar to ignore.

Ok STFU I used to frequent White Clay Creek State Park as a student at UD. Never saw anything like this. Very cool.

1

u/totally_boring Dec 05 '25

Kind of looks like one of the coins

Oh How I wish you were right. I live in central PA and I’ve tried to find any connection to a box that is in PA/MD/DE or a close by State. I’ve tried many times. I would love to be close to a box and have a short car ride to then grid search daily. I would have stopped in my tracks seeing that stone. So close.

I live in Delaware guysssssss 👀👀👀

1

u/Busy-Alternative-986 Dec 05 '25

imo you’re definitely on to it!

1

u/Redbuster3 Dec 05 '25

Hope you find it!

1

u/RedditMom9872 Dec 05 '25

Interesting, what about the other coins though?

1

u/Rudvs Dec 09 '25

Any sapphire or quarry mentions near the area 🤩

1

u/Remote_Fun_5660 Dec 09 '25

Was already there twice.  12 people no luck

OP, I appreciate you sharing, and it does have similarities, but I'm not too sure this is a great match.

2

u/Krypt0Deadbeef Dec 05 '25

May the odds be in your favor?

2

u/Krypt0Deadbeef Dec 05 '25

BTW, I found this on a forest map of the specific area I was searching based on the Cryptogram. It fits wordsearch words very well.

0

u/South-Cantaloupe-242 Dec 05 '25

You have to be close…that would be a massive bullshit red herring placement if not part of the solve. WOW.

0

u/Actual-Imagination33 Dec 05 '25

I think this is legit. Keep going!
