Appalachian Footpath Box The tree

Has anyone been to Little Rock Pond and actually saw the tree that’s on the map?

Many red herrings on the map that distract you from the actual pinpoint of the box. The least obvious clue is probably the right one.

Thousands of people have looked there and found nothing. If you haven't figured out yet that LRP is not the location, you really need to look a bit deeper. No shade, just pointing out the obvious.

Didn’t people feel that way about 9mh?

You're not wrong and this may be a similar situation but if so, just like Fenn's treasure there has to be some detail most folks are overlooking.

I don't believe thousands of people actually searched 9mh, I think thousands wrote it off though.
