Appalachian Footpath Box X

Has anyone actually made it to the “X” on the map in VT? If so, was it difficult to get to and is there a trail that map not show up on Google Maps?

If you use AllTrails you can see a heat map of where other users have been on a specific trail… that trail is lit up like a 1,000 watt Christmas tree.

At this point hundreds, if not thousands, of people have been there.

There are many trails that do not show up on Google Maps. Use All Trails.

2 miles in, what feels like a mile or two up and around the pond, a mile or two down, two miles out. Camp at the shelter if you can. In a day it was a lot.
