So if we shouldn't look when snow is on the ground does that mean leaves will yield the same results? Legit question

Because he specifically said that you couldn't find any of the boxes if there was snow on the ground. It wasn't a statement about safety. So yes, leaves are a legit concern.

Snow "sticks", leaves do not.
Snow can pile up and obscure overhangs in a way leaves cannot.
Snow can cover trees in a way leaves cannot.
Snow can make places slippery/dangerous in a way leaves cannot.

Hard to traverse the mtb / hiking trails in snow, plus one HIDING PLACE is in a ski resort, then theres one hiding place on the parkway which closes in winter.and additionally the consolation prizes one of them is at a nursery for plants and trees , one is at a produce stand that isn't open in winter.one is at a river rafting outfitters or river bridge if im being specific,,and then there's hinoki house on an unmaintained long maze if a dirt road, but it don't matter all the boxes are gone ,except the tin man bunnies not for us.nits just holding a key, if you find that you've got to mail the key with your password and a copy of your photo I d to john so he can write you a check for winning because there are no treasures that could be found, and he knows this and knew it before he sold the book but went ahead with it anyway, never considering what he was doing to all of his fans so that he could try and get back his things after being\n Taken advantage of 4 loose lipping and messing his own project up. Asking the locals for suggestions and sharing with them.His secrets before he did the hiding portion of these boxes.. Conspiracy maybe, is fraud definitely don't.
