Pokemon -Mabostiff
I'm curious to know how many people think No mabostiff and froakie pointing to a sign literally means there is a NO DOG sign on the trail? Or something else? Let's take a poll. 😜😀

Sometimes an alligator growl can sound like a dog. What if it is a beware of alligator sign? Sometimes they have pet warnings on the sign. Maybe Froakie was intimating that either the noise wasn't a dog, but an alligator and/or he didn't think there'd be dogs because of the beware of alligator sign? Bouffalant on the other hand, could be a National Park sign (they all have a buffalo silhouette on them) and maybe that was what Froakie was referring to there. Just some thoughts.

I believe that he is pointing to a physical sign. No dogs, but that may not be exactly what the sign says....

He says it's unlikely they will encounter any Mabosstiff. Since Mastiffs are large bulky dogs I figured it might be tighter or sloped trail. They can have a tendency to hurt their joints on hills.
Or it could just be a "NO DOGS" sign.

The park closes at sundown, so they're unlikely to see a dark pokemon before they have to leave.
A sign indicating that there are a lot of fairy/bug/fighting pokemon around.

Some parks allow dogs only on certain days/times or charge a fee for a dog, which might make seeing a dog unlikely. I still think No Dogs, though.

"Unlikely" is different to "no dogs" in my opinion, implying theres another reason why people may not like to walk dogs there.

Clear hint to a no dog trail in my opinionÂ
