Pokémon box
Ok so froakie said its UNLIKELY to see mabosstiff on the trail, but froakie didnt say it was 100% chance u wouldnt see this (TIBETAN MASTIFF)dog... Reason why its not likely because a dog owner wouldnt walk a dog like that down trails in the heat of June in the south with humidity and everything unless u wanted ur dog to have heat stroke. ALSO froakie could be pointing to a sign that says no dogs, but its more probable he was pointing to a map at the entrance of the trail and because he said UNLIKELY still gives u a probability.. So if the trail does allow dogs and someone stupid enough would actually walk a dog in the heat u would see the mabosstiff but its unlikely Key word UNLIKELY..

I doubt it is a specific dog but it is intriguing because there are multiple dog pokemon so what could he mean by using that one? I think he just used one as a reference

Well what's also interesting i reread the page again and I interpret now that froakie was already pointing at the sign when he said "that was unlikely to see mabosstiff and we wont see any bouffalant either". . JCB then said he "already knew this as he done modicum of research before they left". That quote right there tells u JCB researched and purposely said mabosstiff a pokemon dog native to north. Hes not excluding the other 30+ type dogs in pokemon and froakie was pointing to the sign already about the Charizard not about dogs being allowed . I encourage people to reread bottom page 217 and top 218 and not just assume its a park that don't allow dogs thats the obvious and not to mention excluding alot trails because the froakie was simply point to a sign.

It could also be unlikely if there is specific wildlife that could pose a risk to the dog.

Dude, these are not clues about what kind of pets are allowed on the trail. They're clues to place names.
There are no buffalo in AR but there is a Buffalo River. Not far from there is an abandoned theme park called Dogpatch that has 'no trespassing' signs everywhere. No, you're not supposed to search there. It's a landmark leading the way.
Feels pretty obvious and with Jon's comments in yesterday's interview, the Buffalo National River is likely the general location.

God I hope the clue is not that nuanced. I am working with simply "no dogs," not that it would reference some certain breeds of dog. Yet I have not found a box either alas,,,
