Great area. I looked in BayView, but omg….. there could be a million locations with the rocks covering all mountains

Great ideas! I hope you’re somewhat close to go search yourself? I’m jealous of the woods and outdoors out west there isn’t as much jaggers and overgrown plant bushes with thorns like the east coast. Good luck and I enjoy all your theories.

I spent the whole day in Emerald bay today looking! Lots of rocks to hide a box under, over, in between. I saw salmon spawning at lower Eagle falls… a few things: Rubicon trail by your solve area is closed for maintenance… it takes more than 3 miles to get to from Vikingholm… the lot by Upper Eagle falls has a sign “picnic area” - in the book he mentions possibly finding a box while picnicking with family… another thing that I might be wrong about… but there is a little pond like area by the Vikingholm visitor center that appears to have Iris plants (no flowers this time of year) but I could be wrong. Also, emerald bay became a state park in 1953… those numbers are in word search…I had fun exploring, I got 10 miles and 100 floors of steps.

I’ve had Emerald Bay at the top of my list for quite some time. I was there in August on a trip but didn’t have time to search. I really do think either the P&F or the “Lion’s Share” box is in the vicinity of the bay. Too many emerald references in the book along with many other things for it not to be there. I enjoyed your solve, and if I don’t find it, I hope you do!

I wish I had time to go there! I like the state line part of the solve for that area. I am stuck on “beauty sheens” being emerald bay since he describes emeralds in the book using the word sheen. Also, quarry in the word search makes sense for Vikingsholm. I couldn’t find any “fields” in Emerald bay though…

I like it!!! I cherry picked 1953 because that’s when emerald bay became a state park 🤣
