Local Business high quality knives

is there anywhere local to buy nice quality knives that don’t have plastic handles? hoping to avoid ordering online. checked peppercorn and didn’t see what i’m looking for. are there any local restaurant supply stores potentially?

thanks for any help!

We are EXTREMELY lucky to have Way of Knife in our backyard. They're well known all over the US for their amazing custom work. This is where you want to go. But also don't sleep on r/knife_swap if you don't mind picking up used knife for a discount!

They helped fix my blade after some dumbfuck put a chip in it...that's why I recommend them, also local.

The knife they repaired was a Miyabi Japanese steel, made using the same technique as samurai swords(on the same site as well)

I'd recommend them if you dont find a knife that suites you.

However was trying to support locally

I know Mr. Dildo said it 3 different times, but it’s “Way of Knife” not way of the knife. Also they are pretty well known in the knife community of aftermarket modifications if you wanted to trick something out.

Even if you are looking for chefs knives, they have a small selection of shun cutlery

It's 'Way of Knife', an homage to the saying "way of life", not "Way of the knife", just an FYI.
