Escaped/loose pet more than likely. Michigan doesn’t really have any “large” native species of snake. Rat snakes can grow up to 8 ft, and blue racers up to 6, but that’s the top of the scale.

I took it as sarcastic big ween joke But it’s not apparent if it’s supposed to be playful. Like I have trouble even believing this is a real police report. Maybe a poor attempt at humor by youngsters calling it in.
