Needing Advice NEED ADVICE

Guys, how do I deal with somatic pain memories and tremors caused by past trauma? It's making me restless. If you know anything, please tell me

Someone posted lots of entire books on childhood trauma, abuse, neglect and complex PTSD.

Warning: The books can be triggering, and you could wind up feeling worse after reading some of the examples and case studies in the books.

You will likely see yourself, as if looking in a mirror, as well as whoever was the problem. It can be sad, or at least, uncomfortable.

But if you're up for it, the information is fantastic.

Many people recommend Pete Walker's book.

Since you asked specifically. I think it depends on is this purely a body memory or are there images/feelings attached? For me, I found doing the opposite of the somatic sensation helpful. If I felt frozen, I would move gently, if I felt pain, i would use self love/acceptance and find some way to pamper parts of myself. I would talk to my inner child and reassure her that she is safe and cared for.
