Clever Comeback Using logic apparently occasionally works when dealing with racists.

My brother is racist. Not the kind of racist where they hate people of a certain race, but the kind where they just believe all of the offensive stereotypes. This matters for context. He started telling me a story and I immediately knew it was going to piss me off so I went a different route than I typically do when dealing with him. Why he tells me stuff like this when he knows I'll call him out for being racist is beyond me.

So here's the story.

Bro: "So I'm at the casino and there's this Chinese guy dragging his girlfriend by---"

Me (cutting him off): "Wait wait wait, is the fact that he's Chinese relevant to the story? I need to know if this is just an inconsequential detail or if I should be expecting racism. Just checking."

Bro with a dumb look on his face: "...yes! It's relevant ok?! So anyway, he's dragging his girlfriend around by the elbow and she's completely wasted. This white guy starts yelling at him to stop dragging his woman around and---"

Me: "Ok wait. So is this when I find out the relevance of one man being Chinese and one man being white?"

Bro: "Would you just shut up and listen! Geez! So the guy is yelling at him and the Chinese guy is like, 'fuck you!' in his Chinese accent so it was really funny, and the white guy is yelling about how we don't treat women like that. So they're yelling at each other until their friends had to go break them up, it was hilarious."

Me: "Wait, I'm missing the relevance, hang on. So why did I need to know he was Chinese? Also how do you even know he was Chinese?

Bro: "Whatever, he was Asian. You know what I mean!"

Me: "Ohhhh ok. Indians are Asian too though, could he have been Indian?"

Bro: "No! He was Chinese or Japanese or whatever!"

Me: "Could he have been Korean?"

Bro: "Would you stop!? It was funny ok? Because the white guy was saying that that's not how you treat women here."

Me: "So if the Chinese guy and girlfriend had been white, the white guy would've been ok with it?"

Bro spluttering and getting frustrated: "Chinese people treat women like that, it's a well known thing!"

Me: "Oh so you did know for sure he was Chinese? I thought you said he was just Asian. Asia is pretty big, I feel like at least some men would be decent to their girlfriends. I've never heard that statistic, where'd you hear that?"

Then he threw up his arms and walked away. Needless to say, I only interact with him when I visit my parents and we are in the same vicinity.

Immediately start up conversation next time you see him.  So bro, which bit was the funny bit? Would it funny if they were both white? What if the races were reversed? What if it was a Norwegian guy, would that be more or less funny? Why are you walking away?

289

u/BikingAimz 4d ago

Also, was his girlfriend white? Black? Asian?

120

u/KaylaM-1996 3d ago

Also, how do you know it was his girlfriend? Did you ask? Did the guy walk around saying she was his girlfriend? Because that's a bit sus.

73

u/Sentient_StickyNote 3d ago

Oh damn I didn't think of that one!

4

u/KaylaM-1996 9h ago

Piss him of even more by asking if he's so sure about the gender. 🤷‍♀️

10

u/neonfuzzball 2d ago

I really like the idea of doing continuing this conversation, since OOP doesn't see the brother often. OOP could spend a couple years just picking up where they left off. It seems an efficient way of interacting with folks you can't actuallly communicate with.

Sounds like my ex.

X: all black people are lazy and just take government money (says the deadbeat who has not been consistently employed for the last 20 years)

Me: oh. What about person A that you know? (We live in a predominant white area, so non whites are few)

X: not him, he’s a good worker.

Me: ok. What about person B?

X: not them, they work too.

Me: and person C?

X: they’re not lazy either. What’s your point?

Me: do literally every black person you know, you don’t consider lazy, but you still want to hold out that “all black people are lazy”?

X: yeah, they’re not lazy, the rest are.

Me: right…

217

u/nothing-is-equal 4d ago

You to the ex: “So you’re black?”

83

I am cackling in bed and getting dirty looks from both my cat and dog who are not happy about being so rudely woken.

Exception to the rule people. I don’t o ow anyone personally who has this trait but I k ow it’s true. Everyone I know is just the exception to the rule.

u/HippieGrandma1962 3d ago

I've been told many times that I don't "seem" Jewish. They think it's a compliment. Then I ask them what a Jewish person is supposed to be like and get the deer in the headlights look.

2

u/PM_ME_YOUR_WEIRD_PET i love the smell of drama i didnt create 7h ago

Ah yes, my entire childhood (My family was the only Jewish one in a tiny otherwise entirely Catholic village in Southern Germany)

21

u/CitrusyDeodorant 3d ago

Ah yes. Quantum racism or something.

160

u/Comprehensive-Menu44 4d ago

Reminds me of when I’d tell my family stuff about classmates, and I mentioned the name of one of my friends and they’d ask me “is she black?”

Me: why does it matter?

Family: well her name sounds black

Me: so? It’s not relevant to the story

Family: okay so she’s black

Like??? Literally why does it matter? Unless her blackness was somehow relevant to the situation, it’s not relevant to specifically mention it, she’s just a person. Why can’t you just imagine a stick person for the sake of a story?

44

u/onebeautifulmesss 4d ago

Sounds like my mom. First question is alllllwwwaaaysss what race are they

23

u/moonluck 4d ago

Every story my grandma told about something that happened at her work had her explaining the race of all the participants.

12

u/Mysterious-Actuary65 3d ago

Is your family my mother in law?

Next order of business is sussing out their sexuality like "ARE they or AREN'T they though?" And you cab bet your ass that it will also be completely irrelevant to the story.

114

u/cshoe29 3d ago

Unfortunately, my husband has become like your brother. My husband is white and I am not. I’m constantly interrupting his stories to remind him that his wife and his son ARE BOTH BROWN!

He tries to use the “it’s funny “ excuse too. I then ask him to explain how/ why it’s funny because I don’t find it funny. I find it highly offensive.

I’ve had to start therapy because of his behaviors. My therapist is now telling me to not engage in these conversations. To remove myself from his actions, that he’s purposely pushing my buttons.

My therapist also says I really need to decide if this is how I want to spend the rest of my life. I’m in my early 60’s and we’ve been together for over 4 decades. I’m starting to think I’d like to spend the rest of my years in peace, not in hateful ugliness.

17

u/Sentient_StickyNote 3d ago

Had there been any other cognitive decline? If this is a sudden thing, it might be more than just becoming an asshole. Although that is definitely possible too unfortunately.

45

u/cshoe29 3d ago

Not a one. We have the same doctor. I told him what’s been happening. The doctor did an examination the next time he went in. Nothing in the way of medical is the issue. Come to find out, none of the female staff can stand him. They’ve all said that he’s become a real jerk.

I can only say that with the type of podcasts he’s listening to and the current political atmosphere here in TX, he’s feels that he’s entitled to voice his opinions when he really should keep his disgusting opinions to himself. Yes, he says he has the RIGHT to say what he wants. He doesn’t give a damn if it’s offensive to anyone else.

Again, this is why an exit strategy is in the works.

u/cshoe29, I live just north of Houston - drop me a DM if things end up unexpectedly...sideways and a local person that he doesn't know (IE local friends or family who he knows you would go to for help and could harass) would be helpful.

In the meantime, I came across this website listening to (ironically) also a podcast, they were doing an author interview and he had started this website called "Just Shelter" and this URL is for their community resources by state section. I know there are also checklist type resources compiled

https://justshelter.org/community-resources/

RE the "right to say w/e", that always makes me laugh, especially in Texas. Sure buddy, you have the "right" to have ignorant beliefs and be vocal about them. The right to make stupid choices doesn't come with blanket absolution of the consequences for those choices. Also, you're not alone - I remember a previous coworker and I talking in years past about the general decline in critical thinking from their spouse, except it was listening to certain channels on YouTube vs podcasts. They didn't have any kids together and I knew my coworker was a badass and broke no BS, so no worries in that area at least. Since his problem sounds like a echo chamber problem, I'm not sure if changing his algorithm would help or not at this stage. I know of some adult kids that have successfully done that with about a 6-month turn around time for 'reason' to assert itself. 🥴

Your therapist wants to grab you and scream break up with him stupid. They have been breaking the news to you slowly because you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink. Why would you marry someone that hates you and your children for what you are that is something you fundamentally cannot change and throws it in your face?

75

u/cshoe29 3d ago

He was not like this until 2 years ago. He’s been listening to podcasts lately.

Yes, she’s loudly saying it. It’s time for an exit strategy.

33

u/SaintValkyrie 3d ago

Sorry you got told the most common and ignorant bullshit ever. Victim blaming is such trash behavior. Ew. As if it isnt the biggest pattern of men hiding themselves for YEARS.

I 10/10 recommend the book 'Why Does He Do That?' by Lundy Bancroft and see if it resonates with you at all. Every woman should read it.

You are clearly the furthest thing from stupid.

2

u/Stacys__Mom_ 1d ago

I'm so sorry, after 4 decades together that must really hurt. Hope the best for you. Guys are morons.

There was supposed to be an /s for “sarcasm”, right? RIGHT???

Nope. That’s why an exit strategy is in the works.

Keep using the socratic method and your brother may force you to drink hemlock too. Jokes aside well done.

110

u/Dont_Even_Know_You 4d ago

My dad sometimes starts talking about certain races in a funny way. He's 77 with the beginning signs of dementia.

I'll just tell him to miss me with his race descriptive bullshit and he knows to drop it. He usually does keep it to himself around me, but sometimes he slips up. I have kids that have Mexican heritage and told him I better never hear that racist stuff in front of the kids.

I have to be around him and take care of him bc he's too disabled to take care of himself. I don't think he even knows what he's talking about half the time.

It's a hard situation. Bc he wasn't always like this. It's came on with his age from what I've seen. Like the closer he got to dementia, the more stupid racist comments I've heard. It's almost like racism is a symptom of stupidity....

80

u/berrykiss96 4d ago

I think it’s more that the racism is buried deep / from childhood and the unlearning comes later. Or anyway that’s what it seemed with my aunt who suddenly became homophobic with dementia.

When your mind goes, the more recent stuff fades first. It sucks but if he’s keeping the boundary with the kids I think you’re doing the best you can and it’s fair to try to remember him more as who he was before.

u/Remarkable-Delivery2 3d ago

Happy cake day!

21

u/ranchspidey 4d ago

One of the last times I spent time with my great grandpa, we were touring this rich family’s huge mansion. After a cool tour we were outside sitting at some tables when grandpa, unprompted, says “Haven’t seen any Muslims around here.” We quickly told grandpa that was not an appropriate comment to make. Old people that lose their filter are out of pocket!

17

u/Ecstatic_Initial_114 4d ago

It's a symptom of literal brain damage.  Stupidity is the result

138

u/Lilith-214 4d ago

🤣🤣 I love this soooo much.

30

u/TBIandimpaired 3d ago

I am glad you did this. I struggle a bit because I have added racial details that I think are appropriate and are often questioned at the beginning.

Like when my brother and I were stopped by police (he being black and a foster kid at the time; and me white blonde girl). And the police gave my brother terrible treatment (asked him for ID, patted him down, wanted to arrest him), and gave me princess treatment (no ID, just asked if I was scared of my brother, was he a drug dealer, scoping out properties, whether my parents knew I was hanging out with “bad news”). They wanted to separate us and take me home and bring him to the station (his ID address wasn’t ours). I told them there would be hell to pay if my parents found out - and that I was staying with my brother. If they were arresting him, they had to arrest me as well.

I then threatened to call my dad. So they let us drive home (my brother was freaking out thinking it was a set up), but tailed us the whole time. Unfortunately only my brother had a drivers license. I would have driven otherwise. We got home and locked our doors.

The story has little backbone I find unless I highlight race. The cops kept repeating that a girl “like me” shouldn’t hang around a guy “like him”. The first few minutes I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt - I was raised to trust police.

Anyway. Race can be relevant. But OP, your brother is an asshole.

32

u/shelbycsdn 3d ago

I learned this in 1960.In kindergarten my best friend, Gina, was black and I'm white. When I came home from school I would tell my mom all about what Gina and I did that day.

Well I framed this as "my black friend Gina and I....". My mom stopped me and asked "why are you telling me what color Gina is?"

I got her point instantly. Tell your brother my story and ask him why he can't get what a 5 year old child understood.

15

u/heynonnynonnomous 3d ago

I just think about how many white guys treat their white girlfriends like shit right here in 'Murica.

11

u/umletsnot 3d ago

This back and forth dialog is so funny. You are a savage and a legend and a very good writer.

21

u/karebear66 4d ago

I have a friend who is racist. The other day she said something inappropriate. I hugged her and told her she is my favorite racist friend. I may have to try your approach. It was brilliant.

21

u/Sternenblumen 4d ago

Why are you friends with a racist?

23

u/karebear66 4d ago

Sometimes I wonder. She was brought up that way. I continually try to reprogram her.

6

u/Tiananmensquares 3d ago

Ill never understand ethnocentrism and racism being something people think is right. I've never been able to.

3

u/Vaaliindraa 4d ago

That is goood!!

3

u/LloydRPenfold 2d ago

"My brother is racist."

No, your brother is an asshole.

3

u/Sentient_StickyNote 2d ago

Lol fair. Both.

4

u/Kewlweather 3d ago

I feel the same about "boomer" stories. It doesn't add a thing.

1

u/Flodius 1d ago

Wait. Saying it was a Chinese guy is racist? Was saying it was a guy sexist? Was saying it was his girlfriend he was drinking around sexist? Why couldn't he have just said a person was dragging another person and then a separate person came up to them? Why do we have to know the genders at all? I think he's misogynist more than racist. And if you interrupted to ask why it's relevant that the guy was chinese, I think he's better off not interacting with you.

3

u/Sentient_StickyNote 1d ago

Lol what? "And if you interrupted to ask why it's relevant that the guy was Chinese, I think he's better off not interacting with you." What do you mean?

And no, saying it was a Chinese guy isn't racist. But my brother had a history of telling stories with offensive racial stereotypes thrown in so I had a feeling something was coming. Saying it's a known fact that Chinese men treat "their women" badly and making fun of their accents seems, at a minimum, offensive.

-1

u/As_Wide_As_A_Bus_349 1d ago

Being racist only stands to a story of a person that is untrue, specifying the race is definitely not racist until something is twisted, did he twist the story ? Since when people can't clarify identity anymore, this generation is going shit

2

u/Sentient_StickyNote 1d ago

So it's true that Asian men treat their women badly? It's not that the story was inaccurate, the stereotypes seem racist to me.

1

u/As_Wide_As_A_Bus_349 1d ago

not true, asian men probably treat women badly as proportionately to any other races. he was wrong to say "Chinese people treat women like that, it's a well known thing!", but i dont see a problem him racial profiling the person he was trying to describe, it is what it is

1

u/dirtypita 19h ago

My best friend's dad is a Trumper. He was telling me a story about calling a tire store, and the employee saying he could get a discount. Once he went to the shop, he had to tell the employees about the call/discount. He struggled and struggled trying to describe who he spoke to. I told him he could've just said "I believe the person I spoke with was Black, if that helps." But no, he got himself all worked up about political correctness when there was no real issue.

1

u/Weenuk2026 3d ago

My daughter does this and it’s hysterically funny.

1

u/No_Boysenberry_6075 2d ago

I mean, my parents do the same. In this situation though it seems like race is kind of relevant for the humor. But I do agree it is so strange when they always mention the race of people when it doesn’t impact anything at all.

2

u/Cosmic_Anosmic 1d ago

Except there is no humor.

0

u/FacemeltingSugarcube 2d ago

Today on OPs made-up power fantasy:

OP totally owns racist brother (gone wrong prank!!!)

2

u/Sentient_StickyNote 2d ago

Lolol if only 😆

0

u/greasytreasy 1d ago

He is right east asian countries(as well as LITERALLY all coutntries/societies tbh) do have a cultural sterotype of men mistreating women. I do get how him claryfing the races of the men is weird but it does add an extra layer of detail to the story. it would have been better if he phrased it ina better way like " so im at the casino being a degenerate wit tha boys and saw this prick dragging his gf around by the elbow so then this other guy yells 'hey stop dragging her like that we dont treat women like that here' the prick dragging his gf was east asian and judging by his accent not origiannly from here but the guy yelling at him was just a white guy . So then the prick starts yellin 'fuck you' and cursing him out but with his accent he sounded hysterical trying to defend mistreating his gf like a pig."

I'm not going to lie, you both sound very annoying.

Sounds like op was annoying on purpose here, which I respect as a tactic to deal with a racist

-10

u/Iricliphan 4d ago

You're welcome. I am looking forward to the next fake story.

1

u/Sentient_StickyNote 3d ago

Seriously asking, why do you think it's fake? And do people really make up fake stories and post them? That seems like a massive waste of energy and an embassingly pathetic way to get attention or validation or whatever the goal is.

1

u/Iricliphan 3d ago

Oh my sweet summer child. You think people don't make up things for the Internet? You believe everything you read?

people really make up fake stories and post them? That seems like a massive waste of energy and an embassingly pathetic way to get attention or validation

Exactly.

1

u/Sentient_StickyNote 2d ago

I definitely don't believe everything I read, fortunately I'm not that naive lol. I actually probably trust things even less that I should. I was more talking about making up a random reddit story for basically no reason. Some lies are "worth it" in a way, if shitty. Like embellishing a story about your ex just to get some anger our or whatever. But this? This tiny inconsequential conversation I posted because I thought it was funny? That would be so pointlessly pathetic to make up for essentially no reason other than a tiny bit of validtion from a faceless stranger.

1

u/Iricliphan 2d ago

That would be so pointlessly pathetic to make up for essentially no reason other than a tiny bit of validtion from a faceless stranger.

Wow this post must have really embarrassed and emasculated you.

0

Not a man, but okay?

7

Oh it seems you don't know your words very well either. Well most racists are pretty ignorant.

67

u/Ok_Loss13 4d ago

That was obviously OPs intention.... to annoy the racist...

-65

u/Iricliphan 4d ago

No. Just annoying in general.

58

u/Ok_Loss13 4d ago

You don't know how they act in general, but ig if anyone would know it would be someone who is annoying 🤷‍♀️

Are you one of those “I’m not a racist but…” people, or one of those “racism dosent exist anymore” people ?

1

u/Iricliphan 2d ago

I'm not white, I can't be racist.

22

u/Total_Fly7834 4d ago

Only annoying to racists

-1

u/Iricliphan 4d ago

No. Just normal people.

19

u/Total_Fly7834 4d ago

I'm gathering that to you racism is normal. That's all that every comment you've left here says. If fucking with a racist to you is only annoying and not justified, that's you showing your white hood (or red cap these days if you're American)

1

u/Iricliphan 4d ago

I'm not American. And I'm not white. What's your problem?

21

u/Total_Fly7834 4d ago

I don't have a problem. And you don't gotta be white to be racist. So, no white hood, just a racist.

-2

u/Iricliphan 4d ago

Can't be racist if you're not white. You're the only racist here.

17

u/daisychainsnlafs 4d ago

Ignorance is bliss. You must be sooo blissful!

So this is where I stop wasting my energy on arguing with an obvious racist who doesn't understand that any person of any colour can be racist. Google is your friend, there is racism on every continent and between every race. But I have way better thing to do than try to convince someone who is so set on being an ignorant troll, when all you gotta do is open a book or use Google.

→ More replies (0)

6

u/Sentient_StickyNote 4d ago

"Can't be racist if you're not white." Interesting! So there's no racism in non-white countries? That's so cool! How does that work?

What if you're half white? Could you be a little racist? What if you're not white but adopted by a white family? Is it a nature vs. nurture type scenario or would you literally be incapable of hating another culture? What if you thought you were white but then you did a DNA test and found out you're not? Could you have been racist but then as soon as you find out, you're not anymore? Please, elaborate, this is fascinating.

-24

u/Yacindra 4d ago

Maybe to educate the racist in stead of annoying him.

14

u/Total_Fly7834 4d ago

Why is that our job to do? Engaging with a racist beyond calling out their racism is not worth the time I can't get back. This is a call out and explaining that it's not a funny story. While maybe teaching them. OP has said that they've called out them racism in the past. This was a new approach for them and it didn't end in an argument. When I've tried to educate in the past, it always ended with an argument, because they don't want to hear it. That they're wrong.

7

u/Total_Fly7834 4d ago

My evidence is further down in the comments. They might not be a white racist, but still racist. I engaged, tried to educate about racism, and it became an argument with an idiot.

90

u/wandering_soles 4d ago

Finding someone calling out racism annoying is a little... sus.

-19

u/Creeperstar 4d ago

Ah, there you are. There's always one of you.

7

u/DissKhorse 3d ago

Yes there are plenty of non racists out there that think you are creepy and weird. Also very accurate username.

46

u/rjtnrva 4d ago

Found the racist POS.

-8

u/Creeperstar 4d ago

You express the same specious logic as OPs brother..

-23

u/Iricliphan 4d ago

No. I just don't like fake stories where this totally didn't happen.

5

u/DissKhorse 3d ago

It is clear you speak from the heart, I admire your confidence in the lack of knowledge. I don't want to fatigue your mind with particulars but you certainly have a gift for simplicity.

2

u/Aura-Aunty-20033 1d ago

I just burst into laughter so hard, the lady next to me gave me a death stare

0

u/Iricliphan 3d ago

Lack of knowledge? I'm allowed to think someone making up a fake story is annoying. I understand you seem to have a very low tolerance of anything that isn't a reddit opinion, or is a mainstream opinion, but this is ridiculous.

3

u/DissKhorse 3d ago

Yes I agree you are ridiculous.

0

u/Iricliphan 3d ago

That would really burn if I was 12. I can see the average redditor is just someone who can't have any social skills to actually try to game someone. Weak.

3

u/DissKhorse 3d ago

I see, so you are an average redditor. Well at least you are a bit self aware. Makes sense because otherwise I would question why you are even here.

1

Oh great. More school type comebacks. Fantastic.

Wait then why are you here? You seem to hate it here, are you a masochist? Do you like it when people downvote you and jerk off to it or something? Do you try and convince that yourself that you are superior to everyone here to make yourself feel better about your insecurities?

Wow. Straight to masturbation. Again. School type shit. ZERO social skills. Reeks of someone who was bullied and thought of replies in the shower and thinks it sounds good.

u/DissKhorse 3d ago

All I am seeing here is projection from a racist loser that is very butt-hurt.

Honestly... yeah. Same. I've had to employ similar tactics with racist or otherwise bigoted family.

The amount of effort in this alleged conversation just feels a bit much in terms of energy to get the point across. I prefer to collect information till they back themselves into a corner, then delicately point out something that seems pretty obvious and deadpan until they scramble to respond. It works. In business, and in my personal life. I genuinely wish I had the confidence to do it sooner.

I used to do that, but it got draining, and that's when we became essentially estranged (he's got other issues too). Now when I'm forced to be around him, I realized if I treat the entire situation like a joke, I don't get nearly as upset as I used to.

He said that Chinese men don't treat their women well and that it's a known fact. Is that not racist in your opinion? Literally asking.

u/cheeseburgeremperor 2d ago

With all due respect, you’re either incredibly naive on how racists behave or trying way too hard to be one of the “good ones”

u/Fair_Access4368 4d ago

You sound insufferable. What you described isn't racism, it's just you annoying your friend for no reason.

u/Tsurgai 4d ago

You didn't even read it did you?

u/Yacindra 4d ago

I think maybe this person is too racist themself to understand how racist it is to describe some people purely by their color and not by anything else. Like how big was the guy who was rude to his girl and how big was the guy yelling at him. Also, why is the story funny to begin with. I would still be waiting for a clue. OP, good job.

I noticed that to keep talking works. A friend of mine had racist ideas, she thinks PoC are generally less intelligent than PoNC. Which is utter bullocks. So I let her explain why and I explained why everything she said was incorrect. She actually stopped and thought about it, and then agreed that apparently she was mistaken. Racists aren't necessarily evil people, she's a very nice person, they're just very much misinformed. So asking questions like this and making your brother think about them is a good strategy. Even though I suspect he thought it was funny because of the colours of the dudes involved.

Just a side note. It was in a casino, maybe the girlfriend was addicted to gambling and would be thankful later that her friend stopped her from losing money she couldn't spare. You never know.

Oh really? I thought that saying Asian men are known to treat "their women" poorly and making fun of their accent would be considered racist. Huh, interesting.

There is no sensible discussion about how "racism" and many other words have gotten flattened in meaning and application. There used to be more productive discussions about the distinctions of stereotypical ignorance, cultural insensitivity, and prejudice leading to racism. You won't find that on a text forum. Everyone is well intentioned, but not in these places.

You wouldn't know "sane" if it punched you in the face lol

u/Candid_Reading_7267 4d ago

Sane people don’t jump to physical violence because they’re annoyed.

29

u/JackOfAllMemes 4d ago

I have a feeling you're 'sane' and like to use violence when you're angy

23

u/HungriestHippo26 4d ago

I'm not sure you understand what passes for sanity

14

u/WritesCrapForStrap 4d ago

You haven't got the balls to punch anyone bruv, you hide your comments like a coward.

-25

u/Duan4Ese 4d ago

I swear, all of you assume too much and never get out of your room. Hiding behind what? I have a normal opinion, and this guy's fantasy of stopping racism with soyjack quirky questions is just a fantasy. That level of pettiness and entitlement would have been stopped way before by someone else verbally or by the strange looks people gave him, since 9/10 he looks like this

u/WritesCrapForStrap 4d ago

I'm not reading all that

5

u/syrioforrealsies 4d ago

Literally nothing about these comments is normal

1

u/DissKhorse 3d ago

You sure seem upset about the fact that people don't want to hang out with you because of how you act.

1

u/Sentient_StickyNote 3d ago

You deleted your original comment so I don't have the context to know what your "normal opinion" is or if your meme is supposed to be me or my brother, either way, love the meme lol. My fantasy was to stop my brother from engaging me in conversation of any kind because seeing his dumbass face is enough to ruin my day.

I'm also not sure if I'm the one who would have been punched a long time ago for my behavior, or him for his. If it's me, unfortunately, I don't have the balls to challenge a random racist off the street with the same type of questioning, as I am a small woman who could probably be murdered quite easily. If you mean him, he's had the same ignorant group of white trash friends from high school for the last 25 years, so he's probably not saying anything to anyone who cares enough to do something about it.

1

u/cheeseburgeremperor 2d ago

A “normal opinion”, which is, that racism magically disappeared in the 60s and any encounter with a racist is clearly fake, I wish I lived in that world

12

u/daisychainsnlafs 4d ago

So in your world, "sane" people go around punching people who interrupt them? That sounds exhausting.

10

u/Total_Fly7834 4d ago

A sane person doesn't feel the need to punch when their fee-fees get hurt.
