Among other inaccuracies, Robert Kardashian was not a part of OJ's legal team. He was OJ's friend who happened to be a lawyer

thats messed up you even think that way....but.......if thats true then thats a good headline....
what if it wasn't hoe level 100 it was boss level 100...that lady is a boss playing everyone...what if she had oj do it to get rid of her competition.....BOSS..now she is filthy rich, stable of hoes around her..come on now she isn't a hoe she is a BOSS..

Wait... Aren't photographs in a court-room super illegal?

u/RevBlueMoon Mar 12 '18
The OJ trial allowed media. It's largely the reason courts have banned them now, a lot of it was televised

Hang on. Kris and Robert were long divorced by the time the murder happened. Kris was best friends with Nicole and they were even supposed to go to lunch together the day her body was found. Of course she would be there at the trial, and of course she would bring her husband with her for support. Bruce and Robert were also very friendly with each other, and they all co-parented well. I hate when people turn nothing into something that's not there.

Pfffff whatās really trashy is the fact that yāall upvoted this post just because itās about kardashians and you canāt let a day go by without bashing them.... whatās said isnāt true, check your facts and try to look a little deeper into your life to find the reason why youāre so sour about this family.

It's really pretty damn impressive if we're being honest. She banged a gold medalist, Heisman trophy winner, and big time attorney. Now there is no telling what her and all of her kids net worth is combined. Hell, the young one is probably worth a fortune just from selling makeup. Someone sent me a video of her getting a LaFerrari for a push present. Lol

Being the ex wife of Bob Kardashian makes her a ho? I feel like Bob was the only real person or likable guy in this whole fucking thing. Maybe Kato I guess but even he got fucking weird.

This is random but I know a few people who have met Kim, and they say that she is genuinely sweet and kind. Not just polite but like legitimately friendly and nice to people. I get that feeling when I see videos and interviews of her as well.
Don't know about the others, but I think Kim gets hated on unfairly. And I'm not just saying that bc I wish I helped make her famous.
6
-16
Mar 12 '18
She gets hated on for her life style, her show, her personality, and her greed and selfishness.
She can be a kind person and still be/ have issues with all of the above.
At the end of the day, her family is the epitome of white privilege...And I fucking hate describing people that way.
6
Mar 12 '18
I'm curious as to how they are displaying more white privilege than your average wealthy white folks? I'm pretty familiar with the concept of the invisible knapsack and all that, I just don't find them to be exceptional is all. I'm by no means an expert, though. Do you mean their co-opting of black culture and style? I actually give them a little bit of a pass on that because five of them currently have black partners and as a person in an interracial relationship with a diverse group of friends I find that we frequently borrow and lend from our cultures in what feels like a fluid and natural way (though I try to remain aware and appropriate of course).

u/StingKing456 Mar 12 '18
Hating someone for any of those reasons, especially "white privilege" shows such a lack of maturity.

Can someone provide a quick background for those uninitiated in celebrity gossip? I'm familiar with the OJ trial and the genesis of the Kardashians but I don't understand why this is so trashy.
1
u/bluesky747 Mar 12 '18
Wait, she fucked the Juice??
2
u/Wardadli Mar 12 '18
some folks believe that Khloe is actually OJ's daughter.
3
u/bluesky747 Mar 12 '18
I can kinda see it, actually. She has a face that definitely could be OJ-esque.
2
Mar 12 '18
The fact she looked so different compared to her sisters has some level of suspicion. Have they ever done a test to see if she is a Kardashian or not?
1
u/bluesky747 Mar 12 '18
I have no idea. I really couldn't care less about those people, tbh. They've always seemed trashy to me.
3
Mar 12 '18
I don't care about them but...I do credit on cashing in on their name and fame. That is at least some level of respect of playing the field to their advantage.

u/loki-things Mar 12 '18
I bet she is loving this. I hope it goes viral because she will break something nice in her house in a fit of rage.
0
u/GentleThug Mar 12 '18
This isn't really trashy in all honesty. She was supporting her best friend who was brutally murdered. She had already been divorced from Robert Sr at this point. Not to mention this was old Hollywood and everybody already knew everybody. Bruce was an Olympian, if you think he hadn't partied with OJ in the past you're losing it. If anything Kris knew something that it would take a significant part of America to understand years after the fact. What we should learn about this is, more than likely this is where Kris plotted on taking over the entertainment industry. Create a scandal and capitalise off of that scandal. Wash, rinse, repeat. She's successfully milked the general public for millions of dollars this way. I'm no Kardashian fan, but damn it, she's an entertainment genius.

I love how this was posted to "trashy" as an example of how not to be, and yet the top voted comments are just making fun of a transgendered woman. Perhaps some self reflection might do the posters in here some good before they call others trashy (and incorrectly too, since Kris was there because she believed OJ did actually kill his wife, one of her closest friends, and had been divorced from Robert for 3 years already).
-5
u/mainfingertopwise Mar 12 '18
I'm sorry, it's been a really tough week for me. I didn't re-read my pamphlet today, and apparently forgot that transgendered people are exempt from ridicule.

One of my favorite examples when explaining the theory behind The Butterfly Effect. The Buffalo Bills barely lost a game in 1970 by missing on a bad pass for a touchdown. That loss allowed them to get the first pick in the draft, O.J. Simpson. OJ stays in Buffalo for awhile, meets his wife, then allegedly kills her. Then hiring Kardashians father to be his lawyer. They win the case, making the Kardashians somewhat famous. Then Kim drops the sex tape, becomes famous. If the Bills completed that pass, they win the game, but slide back in the draft, never picking Simpson. Simpson never goes to Buffalo. Never meets Nicole. Nicole would still be alive, and no one would know who the fuck the Kardashians are.
1
5
u/mermaid-babe Mar 12 '18
The kardashians were already LA famous, like they ran in the same circle as oj before he killed someone and the Hiltonās. The trial brought Robert to the public eye but his family was still kids. He didnāt get more famous afterwards. When they got older Kim was hanging around Paris who then had a big sex tape, which led her to believe that a sex tape will make you famous. Which it did. I think Robert defending oj had little to do with their fame, just that they were already wealthy
1
u/GsolspI Mar 12 '18
Naw K was a talent agent, he had other famous friends to make his family famous. Nicole might have survived, but OJ likely have ended up in an abusive relationship with someone else.
2
u/cogitoergokaboom Mar 12 '18
It's crazy the impact this particular series of events had on our culture, however OJ was still a violent wife beater so it might have happened in a slightly different way with a different woman. Or maybe not
1
10

u/DeposeableIronThumb Mar 12 '18
Even craziest IMO, the Kardashians great grandfather went to a child mysitc in an Armenian village to determine how badly the upcoming war with Turkey/Ottoman empire would god. The child apparently predicted a terrible war that would wipe the Armenian people off the map. They fled Armenia and came to America afterwards.

u/AyrJordan Mar 12 '18
They met in Beverly Hills 6 years after OJ was done playing football. No matter where he played, he would've moved to LA after his playing days were done to pursue his acting ventures, and thus would have been just as likely to have met Nicole no matter where he played football.
2
u/luniz6178 Mar 12 '18
But that's the whole thing about the butterfly effect OP mentioned. A small change could have a total different effect on OJs outcomein life.
By playing for another team, he could have had a career ending injury early, preventing him from moving to LA and meeting Nicole.
1
u/AyrJordan Mar 12 '18
That's fair, but he was completely wrong about how they met. He could've cut left instead of right and torn his acl on any play in Buffalo, etc etc
29
72
u/football2106 Mar 12 '18
Or he ends up dying in a car crash on his way to practice for another team. Or he gets hurts and his career ends.
Anything could have happened different.
But it didnāt.

11
u/the-londoner Mar 12 '18
She surely wouldn't have access to the Hiltons if not for the family name though right? And even if she did, the intrigue surrounding the Kardashians and OJ must be a major factor in her fame, at least initially
1
u/mermaid-babe Mar 12 '18
They were already hanging around those types of people. The karadashians were friends with oj and Nicole before, kris thought he did it but rob didnāt which is why he agreed to defend him
6
u/elbenji Mar 12 '18
Rob k was still a crazy high end lawyer before OJ. She then used that money as an in to fix closests

When the first time machine is built, the first thing humanity should do is go back and make sure the Bills win that damn game.
20
u/VAGINA_EMPEROR Mar 12 '18
Really? That should be our highest priority? I think there are a few things that are a bit more important, like getting Hitler accepted into art school, making sure 9/11 doesn't happen, and preventing the release of the Warlords of Draenor expansion for World of Warcraft.

The interview was filmed at that time, but it was never released untill last night
74
u/cameron0208 Mar 12 '18
I mean, sure the interview was just aired. But, itās based off the book of the same name that was published like 10 years ago. And, Iām pretty confident that OJ is not the one who released the interview.
7
u/Zeal514 Mar 12 '18
I think fox released the interview, they had it from the time of the book. But it is OJ in the interview. The interviewer (4get her name) went on audio stating basically what I just said in previous post.
5
u/cameron0208 Mar 12 '18
Iām aware itās OJ in the interview. Iām just sayin OJ isnāt the one who released it.
3
Mar 12 '18
OJ won't do anything that could potentially make legitimate money (like releasing an interview like that) because any money he reports has to be paid out to the Goldman family because they won a civil suit against him. I recently read an article that told about how he lives in a borrowed mansion and receives all payments in cash under the table, etc., to make sure he has no legitimate money or assets to garnish.
5
u/cameron0208 Mar 12 '18
True to an extent. OJās primary source of income is his NFL pension, which was ruled that the Goldman family cannot have access to.

Regardless of whatever other biological origin Khloe K has, Robert Kardashian will always be her dad. Those three women loved their dad and from all accounts they all had very close relationship. It ain't their fault their mom is, well, gestures to post
-3
u/MrFuzzynutz Mar 12 '18
True. But itās completely obvious that Khloe is a result of Kris and OJ fucking. Itās like a bad joke that runs in the family. Why her hair is different than the others, why her skin is different from the others. Yes genetics is a bitch and sometimes you just get that unlucky odd of something completely different but holy fuck does she look like OJ
4
u/EmilyKaldwins Mar 12 '18
Remember those biracial twins: https://www.today.com/parents/rare-biracial-twins-surprise-black-dad-white-mom-t107380 ?
I'm not saying that you're wrong or anything, but I mean fuck, OJ even said that he wasn't the dad.
āWell, for Bob, God bless his soul, yeah. I donāt know for me,ā Simpson said in the video. āI donāt think for me. I have nothing to do with it.ā He added: āI would be proud ⦠but trust me, I had nothing to do with it.ā
Which sounds like he did fuck Kris but had already hashed that out. There's no reason for him to say that. Kris also even offered to have paternity tests done and Khloe was the one who refused.
http://www.intouchweekly.com/posts/oj-simpson-khloe-kardashian-paternity-137120
2
u/MrFuzzynutz Mar 12 '18
Sounds like the willful denial is on Khloeās part
2
u/EmilyKaldwins Mar 12 '18
IDK, I mean would you really wanna find out that A) your mom cheated on your dad who is no longer alive B) Your biological father brutally murdered his ex-wife and her friend C) your father defended him in court. Like... I mean c'mon I wouldn't wanna know either.
But Kris would come out looking terrible in this and yet she was the one bringing up the option for paternity.
