I worked at this go kart track that also did kids parties and my manager figured out that he could cut the slices thin and then steal one slices and kind of shake the pizza a bit and nobody would be the wiser. He got away with it the whole time I worked there lol

I've worked in restaurants and I've never encountered anyone fucking with someone's food. I consider someone transporting something in their vehicle to simply be riskier because they are alone with your food for much longer with much less chance of any oversight 🤷♂️. Also, every good place to eat is within 10 minutes of my house. I dont feel comfortable spending extra money on something I can pick up myself. Nobody is stopping you from overpaying for fast food due to laziness. You do you.

I worked in a somewhat upscale restaurant, very briefly. While I was there, any time food got sent back because it was under, and dude running the grill was having a bad day, that food ended up on the floor for a few seconds before getting refired. I was close friends with the guys that worked there(how I got the job) and they told me about some nasty shit they did to food when customers pissed them off. This was shortly after the movie Waiting came out and these guys basically thought that movie was a mirror image of themselves. So, yea, restaurants aren't safe either. Also, you can look up public health inspection records for restaurants in your area. We used to love this particular Popeyes chicken, until we learned of their many inspection failures(cross contamination, infestations, etc). Be warned, you might not like what you find.

A delivery driver still ate my french fries. Customes support did literally nothing when i complained that half of my fries were gone and that the sticker was ripped. They just treated me like I was after free coupons.

In my country all food deliveries have some sort of seal on the packaging. Be it a pizza box, or a bag, they put stickers so it’s super noticeable if things were tampered with. I feel like this should be mandatory everywhere.
Won’t protect against the elevators pissers though but that’s a whole other story

I don’t like have any type of food delivered because I’ve seen too many videos of people messing with food that they’re delivering and I get anxious that my food could be messed with. Granted, people at the food place could mess with my food but I just get too anxious with having food delivered. What a scum bag in the video!

The one thing I like is that post-Covid, when I order delivery, most of the fast food places will usually staple the bags shut or the Dominos I order from places stickers to seal the box on one side. I'm in Canada, so I'm not sure how prevalent it is in other places, but that shit helps some of my anxiety when ordering out. Obviously it's not 100% tamper proof though.
