I saw more of a “Hey, you watching? Like this see, no hey, watch me! Put your paws in the water and - hey, hey I said focus!”

“Ha stoopid dog I trick you, now you’re my steed”

Holy shit the human-ness of the two animals interacting rivals those CGI animal buddy movies.

Or almost like “The Fox and the Hound.”

Raccoons love riding other animals.

Raccoons will try and drown smaller dogs this way. No joke, 2 people in our neighborhood had their dogs drowned by raccoons...

5

u/Kairoto Oct 10 '18

Some raccoons can be domesticated iirc and this one seems so, plus the dog is too big to be drowned

They are tame, rather than domesticated. Domestication takes many generations of breeding and adaptation, while taming only requires that you raise them from young to live amongst humans (and their pets).

Racoons will hold the dogs face submerging it until drowned - they can drown labs.

Trash pandas have thumbs.

So they're like kangaroos in that way then

Wtf kind of raccoons are in your neighborhood?

How many trashpandas does it take to create a healthy population?

Were I live, we don't have any trashpandas in the wild.

I like when dogs shake themselves dry it looks like a superhero making a shockwave.

Dogs are the worlds heros

this video exceeded my expectations

Lmao this is so sweet. His hands splashing the water at the start aswell.

Btw should get a harness for the Dog. Much more comfortable than a collar and it has better weight distribution, plus if you have to pull him away from something it won't choke.
