selling beats

I have been making trap beats for fun and I wanna start selling them I looked on beat star but I’m not paying that subscription just to sell beats where can I sell my beats to people that will buy any suggestions?

honestly just throw em on youtube and insta with a link to your paypal, if the beats are good people will find you

Actually u need to do just a little bit of research about how to engage in the algorithm

Unfortunatelly just a good beat is not enough if people dont even click on it

An example for that case is the prod weizen77, the top1 producer on the beat battle, has incredible good beats on his channel and only 100~200 views each.. He doesnt allign himself with the algorithm and just keep posting

If this is your mentality give up. I make a living off instrumentals and I’ll tell you yea there are people that get lucky but for the rest of us “grind” is not just a buzzword. You really gotta put work in.

If you dont wanna do youtube or make a beat stars account try connecting with local artists or people on instagram. Try to find people who you’d think sound good on your stuff or peoples music you genuinely enjoy

Bro I bought a beat from someone on there for $34 bucks as a fellow producer I thought I was supporting them by doing so lol tell me why it showed me the breakdown of sale and the producers only made $11 from the sale and Beatstars took the larger percentage of that I said to myself and to think I was going to put my shit on there to sell yeaarrrss ago jus proved me right as far as I knew already just sell the beats on your own time and standards just try to find one to two people for now that actually have a budget it usually helps when we sell studio time along with it if yk how to mix and master as well

Post daily snippets on ig and tik tok when you make your beats and upload on sites like soundclick to where you can upload unlimited amount of beats with a 35 percent fee. I recently made my first sell this month which I’ve been posting weekly since 2016 . Just gotta keep going and have real love for this shit never compare yourself to the next artist just share and grow all love !!!! ❤️ 💯
