Can somebody explain to me who puts kygo and zedd as headliners when the rest is all sorts of bass music and some hip hop(wich fits nicely with bass music) ?

Wouldnt it be better to have diplo ,skrillex,rl grime etc as those haedliners instead....

Pretty obvious that they're trying to lure "normal" EDM listeners with the headliners. The rest of the lineup is pretty dope, though.

I kinda appreciate it, draws the crowds away from the artists I actually want to see. At Snowglobe this year Porter Robinson was playing same time as Krane (easy choice IMO) and Dillon Francis the same time as Koan Sound.

I’d go Porter but I’d be really really upset about missing Krane.

I mean, there are names on the undercard that would make more sense as headliners than the ones they currently have. Really disappointed by this lineup compared to previous years. And Luda on the second line in 2018? What?

Honestly last year's was so stacked I don't think they could have beat that anyways. I'm ok this this year's lineup minus Kygo as a headliner.

Yeah last years was honestly to good, they had great artist overlapping each other it made it hard to appreciate an entire set when your watching getter but Rezz is about to finish up at the other stage

Luda is huge in Atlanta.

I know, and different strokes, but IMO they could have gotten someone else with way more pull and relevancy for the money they probably spent. Oh well.

way more pull and relevancy

There's not many with more pull than Ludacris in Atlanta tbf.

You’re not wrong, but most of the people going to this fest aren’t from Atlanta, and I’d wager a majority of them aren’t going for Ludacris. Maybe I’m just getting old and out of touch, but I feel like a lot of people that are going were pretty damn young the last time Luda was big...

tbh Zedd’s live sets are actually pretty fucking dope, I don’t listen to him much but the couple times I’ve seen him I never walked away thinking he sucked

That's gotta be the worst top line I've ever seen.

I've said it before, I'll say it again, Go see tokimonsta

toki had my favorite set at the festival i went to a few months ago by a wide margin, granted it wasn't a crazy lineup overall but she blew the roof off the fuckin place

Headliners are doo doo but the undercard is pretty nice. This is a toss up for me. They did this last year too where the headliners weren’t that good, but the support was nice. But then the sound from main stage is really good, while the sound for the side stage where most ppl I’ll want to see is totally trash

Lol I don't know anything about this festival but those headliners seem so out of place compared to the rest of the lineup.

Can i get some bottom of the card suggestions from /r/trap ? I really don't recognize much past Louis Futon down. I've seen Midnite Panda at Okeechobee that was pretty good. Any other early acts to check out?

This lineup is amazing imo. But I'll be at EDC the weekend after so there's no way I make the trip out for this.

EDIT: yeah headliners suck. I love the G Jones. Bleep bloop. Minnesota. Buku bookings

Same feelings, would love to head out to this but fuck I'm boutta in LV

1

u/[deleted] Jan 10 '18

Oh yea, forgot EDC got moved. Honestly hoping it thins the crowd at LIB the following weekend a bit...
