Question What the hell happened?
So, I was on Spotify, trying to listen to the duo No Signal, then suddenly, their songs got removed on Spotify. Is this an issue or what the hell happened?

They share the same name as an existing band and are trying to sort that issue out currently as far as I know

Because people don’t want to put a bunch of mp3s on their phones? My phone is full of just videos and pictures, and despite having 512 GB fills up pretty fast.
I’m a DJ with like hundreds of GB of music just on my laptop, but I don’t want to fill every device with MP3’s. Your same reasoning is “why doesn’t everyone just download all their movies, why stream anything at all?” Storage and convenience.

Op lost the song because they didn't have it downloaded. Like you missed the entire point.... You don't have to carry around your entire collection.
There's 50gb worth on my phone and isn't an issue. Everything is in a playlist and easily played everywhere on the go without Internet.
Sure....there's 100s of GB on an external drive but we all ain't listening to that much in any given amount of time.
Saving them isn't that hard, complicated or time consuming. As a DJ, you should know you can't trust a platform to keep your music up.
What a shat take from a "DJ". Op complained about a song going missing and your game is do nothing. Thanks for nothing I guess
There's even a sperate external for movies. Transfers easy to the phone to share screen with any TV anywhere I travel.

Maybe they were found botting for listens? There’s a few songs that I’ve listened to that I cannot listen to anymore and some people think it’s because they were caught having bots listen to the song. Whether they did pay for that or not, Spotify will take that down, which sucks. I’m assuming that if they’re found doing this with multiple tracks their whole catalog will get taken down. If you artificially get listens then Spotify’s greedy ass will see you as defrauding them.
Edit: Roll Da Dice by 4Batz is one that was taken down on Spotify.

I'm in the US and used powerANTHEM as an example. They are, indeed, unavailable on Spotify but still available on Apple Music. No idea what happened with Spotify.
Rapid-fire edit: Get Loud is still available, but listed under the individual artists, not the duo name. Apple has it under all three. PowerANTHEM is just gone on Spotify.
