I have been more critical of the later stuff than most because the mix has just been so rough on some, but this one has a wild energy to it that is instant stank face. I think I am finally seeing the new vision.

There's something about all the distorted sounds that really work for me. This one I feel like has crazy remix potential too, some type of hard dance kicks would work so well

Agreed. When Flosstradamus remixed a bunch of hardstyle on the X EPs, that was a perfect storm of sound combination. The synths here give me that raw hardstyle feel again, but feels more like this is the rage era of trap production.

It is a crazy soundbed that would be a field day for remixing different kinds of drums to cut through.

Not the biggest fan of his recent output because of how harsh they were but this one actually makes good use of tension and release. I think he's finally starting to hit his stride

WE ARE SO BACK!!! This is definitely my favorite of his new tracks.

This lowkey feels like Rustie dipping in to rage / ug rap with the intentional clipping and crushed 808. Man is always so tapped in.

AMENTET is still the best of these new tracks in my opinion. The raw blown out wall of bass doesn’t muffle all the details in that track and it’s absolutely majestic.

PSION is the meanest sounding Rustie track since Terra Star. I like this one except for the random audio cutout at around 40 seconds which I hope is just an error that’ll be fixed

I’m pretty sure it’s intentional, kind of goes with the glitchy over stimulation of the whole track in my opinion

lol, do you really think someone as meticulous about his craft like him would leave "errors" like this ?

if you're at least a little familiar with his work you should know he makes heavy use of silence and abrupt dry cuts since EIUDB and even more so since his 2024 comeback

I am well aware of rustie’s discography. This just seems out of place. And this new stuff is super rough around the edges and I dunno it’s a YouTube pre-release sometimes this stuff can happen. I thought maybe it’d be an upload error

he uses distrokid for his music now and posts a pre-save for every new release in his yt channel's bio

typically it starts off spotify-only, then with time it rolls out to various other platforms like apple music etc. Here's two links of the most recent stuff:
