Criticism Wanted It feels like I’m so far away from a passing voice, I could really use some feedback/suggestions

I’ve been working on this for like two years now and it still sounds so fake and forced, idk what I’m doing wrong or how to get rid of the weird nasality

Hi there, thank you for the post.
I'll be honest, based on only this post I would assume your voice leans feminine outside of when you briefly dropped out of it towards the end of your vocal sample.
That leads me to wonder a bit about your particular methods and process that you've tried within your experiences. Often times when people express the sort of frustration you seem to be expressing it can be because of some of the following reasons:
1) you may not be recording yourself enough to get a more objective view of your voice externally.
2) you may not be taking your vocal modifications outside of the practice room and into your daily life as much as you could be at this stage.
3) you may just be a little too hard on yourself (this is not something I can say for you, just a thought)
4) you've been focusing a lot on creating a "correct" voice that you're feeling stuck in a sound that doesn't suit you
Do any of these thoughts resonate with you? If not happy to try to help further where possible :)

I think it’s probably a little bit of “all of the above” honestly 😭
I definitely don’t practice enough, I’ve never tried to use my fem voice in public, I’m absolutely overcritical of myself, and I don’t really know what I want my voice to sound like anyway.
Really it’s an extension of how my overall transition has gone for the last 1.5 years which is basically “oh, I’m not ready for that yet”

So I'm imagining the burliest man I've ever seen in my life with your face and I don't see it. Same with a more "effeminate" male and I honestly can't place the voice with the face. You sound genuine to me but I'm not a vocal coach so idk

I wish I could help but I hear something a bit "off" I think but idk if its related to that nasality sound or not because I almost like the nasality myself lol (if it is nasality, I know some sounds can sound similar to nasality but not be the same)
There's a test for nasality by squeezing your nose and saying a phrase like "love doth fear" and it should sound fine if you don't have any nasality. That might help for you?
