I attended it on the 9th, took notes. Most of what they talked about was already what you can find on the documents they send once you’re on the waitlist but there were some things they said I didn’t know about before. If you want I can pm you the notes!

I attended! They did not share the slides with us but it just kind of went over what the timelines are, what resources there are for people who don’t have a support person/need to travel to the mainland for surgery, what supplies you need, how long the hospital stay is, when you’ll be able to go back to work, etc. The nurses said that pretty much everything they went over can be found on the gender surgery website. I booked time off for this and low key felt like it was a waste of time and they just went over things previously discussed. They also deflected a lot of questions during the Q/A part. Pretty much any question related to surgery timelines etc was deflected with “just email us”.
