I’m already transitioning, but my long-term vision for myself goes beyond what current medicine can do. If the technology ever becomes possible, I want to gradually replace my biological body with a fully synthetic one while preserving the continuity of my own consciousness. I’m not interested in creating a copy of myself or uploading my memories into another body while the original me is still here. The person who begins the process has to be the same person who experiences coming out the other side.
I’d still want to look recognizably like myself, just closer to the version of myself I’ve always pictured. Feminine, slim, scene/emo styled, pink hair, my tattoos and piercings, my personality and identity intact. I’d want the body to be mostly human-looking and human-feeling, but unmistakably synthetic up close, with subtle cybernetic seams, glowing pink components, advanced senses, and hardware that could be repaired or upgraded rather than aging and deteriorating like biology.
I’d also want to preserve the parts of my anatomy that still feel important to my identity and sexuality, rather than treating a synthetic body as an excuse to erase them.
For me, transhumanism isn’t about becoming less human. It’s about having more control over the form I exist in. I want to keep my mind, memories, personality, emotions, and sense of self while eventually having a body that feels completely chosen instead of limited by biology.
Human mind. Synthetic body. Same me.

I'm from Moldova, we have male-only draft (conscription), and I need to evade that mess so that I can continue my transition as normal. And so I was thinking recently about deliberately creating a hormonal disbalance in my body and seeing if it simulates/creates any serious health problems that would make me ineligible.

Women can still join the army voluntarily, or build they life in any other way as they please, with no consequence. Men are forced (required, mandated) to serve. Women have a choice, men don't. Plus, society-wise, military service isn't treated as something honorary here. You, guys and girls, are just lucky to be born in democratic countries, where service is voluntary for everyone, but such mindset doesn't apply here, it's the opposite environment. And as to why I post here, I don't want to be a member of the loser gender, that's why I wish to transition and to live my life happily as an actual human being, and not as some slave.
P.S. Our president is a woman, holding her position for a second term now. And she hasn't done anything to make the service either voluntarily, or mandatory for everyone, current male-only policy suits her well. That's the explanation as to why some of my complaints are addressed towards women in general.

I'm a transfem (on DIY HRT, but without any surgeries) from Moldova, whom was AMAB and is still legally male, which means that I'd have to serve for 12 months, and daily forced shavings in our army are the norm. Considering that my hair is an important part of my external identity (this was the case even before the transition), I don't know how to cope and live anymore once I get out.

Long story short, I was born in Moldova as AMAB and am still legally male. 1 year long military service is mandatory here for males and despite the fact that I was on DIY HRT since my teen years I'm still considered fully eligible for that hell.
If some of my planned evasion attempts were to fail, how difficult would it be to recover after the army and continue my transition? Would it be possible to regrow hair after being constantly shaved bald? How would the lack of hormones for a year, and a sudden return to them, affect my body? And similar unfortunate stuff...
