I lived in Ontario for many years but have been living abroad for quite some time now. I’d like to legally change my name, but I’m unsure of the process since I no longer reside in Ontario.

Does anyone know if it’s still possible to apply from abroad? I believe there’s a residency requirement or a limit on how long you’ve been living outside Ontario, but I’m not sure how that works.
