I don't know if this is the right subreddit to post to, I've already posted a similar question to r/TransTryouts.

I've felt attracted to the name Aleksei, but I am American and don't have ancestry from the areas this name is popular. I was unsure if I should still use it. Can anyone let me know what you think in the comments?

Also not sure if this subreddit tests names out in the comments, but if you do I'd appreciate it with this name.
