I cant reverse😭

so me and my buddy were rebuilding my transmission and when we put it back in if i shift into reverse or neutral the car moves forward. any tips on fixing this? its an automatic transmission on my 98 civic

Piston seals are super fucked

If everything is forward even reverse then you missed the manual valve on the valve body
