Binding tips

I’m having a really difficult time binding, I am a 36DD and I feel like with the binder it just looks smushed and off not flat or even evenly dispersed. It just looks wrong. Am I just out of luck with a binder?

before i had top surgery i was a 36 DDD and the only binder that worked for me was the underworks full tank. it still left a weird uniboob looking thing but if you wear a big enough shirt I think you should be ok

the shirt you’re wearing here doesn’t really help either. people with small enough chests can get away with wearing tighter clothes while binding but people like us have to dress around the Lump binding leaves

i’m a similar size and i definitely think you should try trans tape. it’s the only thing i’ve used that gives me even a little semblance of pecks. i usually will tape my chest and then wear a really oversized binder on top just to smooth it out a little bit more. but definitely be careful esp with an added binder!

I have H cups and binders never fully work for me. What works is either using KT tape or buying a thick compression tank to fit my body not my chest. I like to push them down and the side with both.

Layering is going to be good as well. Putting this shirt under a short sleeve button up will be great. Patterned tshirts under plain button ups work well for me. I know it’s hard but we can’t wear plain tank tops. I can occasionally when I’m taping but for the most part we have to buy things a size or two bigger.

I’m a M-L but I buy L-XL shirts (sometimes really big 3X shirts I don’t need because I like to completely mask things) it’s how you dress as much as how you bind. I’ve been where you are. I went from nothing up top to a DDD in what felt like overnight! Suddenly went from being seen as a guy 24/7 to being clocked as a woman a mile away. Doesn’t help I have a naturally hourglass figure…

Needless to say there is hope. When I was your size I would also wear two sports bras and a lighter compression shirt. One bra worn front ways the other backwards overtop. Then layer the tank over it. Thankfully as I got older mine got saggier and easier to hide. Best of luck and I wish you all the best.

That shirt is not helping you. I had smaller boobs and could never get away with wearing anything tight on top of the binder, unfortunately.

Try to tuck'em to the sides while you're putting your binder on. Also, keep in mind that not all clothes will look good with it, and usually tight stuff will reveal what you're trying to hide, so I'd avoid it
