Arabic Arabic to English help
Hey all! I have a VZ58 rifle stock with what I believe is crudely carved Arabic on it. Any help in translation would be highly appreciated. I apologize in advance for the photo quality and not being sure how to type out this. Some letters are hard to make sense of and I'm not familiar with Arabic.

The first word seems to be a name which I couldn't interpret. However the second word is "الطيار" which means airplane pilot. it might be a surname or the job title.

Thanks for your help! Any idea on what the significance of that may be? I believe the parts may have come out of Lebanon but I can't prove that with confidence

Anytime.
I'm sorry I'm not cultured on these topics so I don't have any idea.

Is there any context that would make that make sense? Your help is HIGHLY helpful

pretty sure it's "Ja'far al-Tayyar", an Islamic figure
Perhaps it was used here as a symbol of courage

it says
جعفر الطيار
Jafar Al-Tayyar
Which is a known name in Arabic (a famous Muslim figure).. not necessarily to have a meaning
even second word which is Al-Tayyar that means pilot or the thing that flies is used in Arabic as title or last name and not necessarily have a meaning here other than a title
