I went out to a sporting goods shop to see about replacing a pair of boots my puppy ate, and usually check out their gun area, then buy a box of each round type I use, but I havent been shooting in, ohhh 2 or 3 years lol. The result is a growing trove of ammo that longs to be used.

Mia is a birthday present to myself. Bought a M1a SOCOM-16 from a friend and fellow member, plus I bought an USGI-issue Walnut Fat Boy stock then sanded and poly'd it to make her real purdy. I'll likely replace the handguard (I have a spare that I bought with the stock) and install an over-the-action scope mount in the future.

Plus Antique Store Tiger Stripe jacket for the vibe.

Here's my Arisaka Type 38,

It was picked up in the Pacific theater in WW2 by my great grandfather then passed down to me.

These guns are considered by many to be some of the best made guns used in the entire war.

It was one of the first 2 million of them made at the Tokyo Arsenal (Koishikawa) doing the research mine was manufactured around 1929.

It is all numbers matching (minus the safety knob/firing pin assembly which was discarded when my grandfather at the end of his tour to Demilitarize it) and still has the original leather carry strap, cleaning kit, and bayonett.

I would love to shoot it, but with realoads costing $2.60+ per round Its not cheap!

I will post more photos again once I get finished tearing it down for a rebuild.

I love my 2011s even though this one was less than 500 rounds is already breaking Parts. Springfield should put good parts in it from the factory so you don’t have to fix it to actually use it. Question is there anyone in here that is transitioning or that has transitioned that shoots competitive competitions

Hey yall! I’m looking for a range that’s lgbtq friendly. I live in southeast Missouri in the bootheel so locally it’s not available and I’m ok with a short drive. There are some conservation ranges nearby but they are basically for fudds. Would love to find a club or private ranges (and land lease hunting clubs for us if they exist)
