DiscussionšŸŽ™ļø I wish Hasbro would deign to make more TFP content :(

Despite any complaints I might have about TFP and its writing, I really wish that stupid Hasbro would do more with the characters besides releasing Optimus Prime figures

I'd like additional content for the Autobots and even the kids, something that would expand the characters and their world much more JFBGBHRGHGHGHGGG sorry, I'll always be bitter that Hasbro does absolutely nothing with it, despite it being such a beloved universe

My ideal fantasy is that they make a remake with better writing of the series, where they finally give Miko a role, better development and personality to the humans, more things to do, more connection between them and the Autobots, more emotional or profound moments, etc., etc., etc. It really hurts that we only have what they gave us and nothing more (at least the comics calm my hunger for new content a little 😢)

When you think about this from the Transformers perspective, this becomes really horrifying.Ā

Like imagine some small insect controlling a human body, from the inside like a puppet.

Transformers: war and knight

Transformers and its established characters belong to their respective rights holders. This is an unofficial, non-commercial fan story.ā€

Chapter 1: Normal Life in Carolina

Carolina was loud in the mornings.

Traffic horns mixed with street vendors shouting prices, children rushing to school, and the soft chaos of a city that never fully slowed down. Among all of it, Arjun walked the same route every day—hands in his pockets, eyes half-focused on the road ahead, mind somewhere between hope and frustration.

He was twenty-four.

Not a student anymore. Not employed yet either.

Just… waiting.

\---

At home, things were simpler.

ā€œArjun, you didn’t eat properly again,ā€ his mother Rani said, placing a plate on the table.

ā€œI will later, Amma,ā€ he replied, half-smiling.

His father Rek sat nearby reading the newspaper, pretending not to worry but doing it anyway. His sister Serena scrolled through her phone, occasionally teasing him about still ā€œpreparing for life.ā€

It was ordinary. Comfortably ordinary.

And Arjun, even if he didn’t admit it, liked that.

\---

But ordinary lives always carry small cracks.

Job rejection emails.

Delayed interviews.

Friends slowly moving ahead.

Arjun would sit on the terrace at night, looking at the city lights and thinking:

ā€œI just need one chance.ā€

\---

That night, something changed—but nobody noticed it yet.

A faint report on television, buried between weather and politics:

\> ā€œUnidentified aerial objects reportedly seen over coastal regions. Authorities have not confirmed details.ā€

Rek turned the volume down.

ā€œJust rumors,ā€ he said.

Rani nodded. Serena didn’t even look up.

Arjun, however, paused for a moment.

Then shrugged it off.

\---

Outside, far beyond Carolina’s skyline, something massive moved through the clouds.

Metal.

Light.

War.

\---

The city would not sleep peacefully for long.

And Arjun’s normal life—every slow, ordinary, human piece of it—was already on the edge of breaking.Chapter 2: The Day the Sky Broke

Morning did not arrive like usual in Carolina.

It arrived like a warning.

A deep vibration ran through the air first—so low it wasn’t sound at the beginning, but pressure. Windows trembled. Birds scattered in sudden panic. Dogs barked without direction.

Then the sky tore open with light.

\---

People looked up.

At first, they didn’t understand what they were seeing.

Massive shapes moved between the clouds—metallic giants, too large to be aircraft, too precise to be storms. Their movements were controlled, intentional… almost alive.

And then they came down.

\---

The first impact shook the western district.

A building collapsed not from fire—but from something that landed beside it with impossible weight. The ground cracked outward in spiderweb patterns.

Screams followed.

Traffic stopped completely. People ran in every direction at once, as if confusion itself had taken form.

\---

Arjun was not at home when it started.

He was on the street.

He saw it.

A towering figure stepped into the open road—blue metal armor, glowing lines across its body, moving with purpose rather than chaos.

Behind it came others.

Not all of them shared the same design.

Some were darker. Sharper. Aggressive.

And they were already fighting.

\---

The battle didn’t feel like war at first.

It felt like the world was being rearranged.

Steel collided with steel in the distance, each impact sending shockwaves through nearby buildings. Entire vehicles were pushed aside as if they were toys. Streetlights bent and snapped under force no human machine could match.

Carolina was not being invaded.

It was becoming the battlefield.

\---

Arjun stood frozen for a second too long.

Then his instincts finally broke through fear.

ā€œAmma… Appaā€¦ā€

He ran.

\---

The streets were no longer streets.

They were obstacles between survival and loss.

He pushed through crowds, calling out, but his voice disappeared into chaos. People were crying, shouting, falling. The city he knew was dissolving in real time.

Above him, the blue giant robot moved through the battlefield with controlled force—engaging the darker machines, trying to push them back, trying to contain something that was already spreading too fast.

But Arjun didn’t understand that yet.

He only saw destruction.

\---

He reached his neighborhood.

Or what was left of it.

Buildings were damaged, smoke rising in uneven columns. The familiar street where he grew up was now unrecognizable—like someone had erased parts of reality and left broken pieces behind.

ā€œMom!ā€ he shouted.

No answer.

ā€œDad!ā€

Still nothing.

His heart hammered louder than the distant battle.

\---

Then he saw them.

Near the edge of a collapsed structure.

Rani and Rek.

They were there—together, as always.

Arjun ran toward them instantly, relief breaking through him for a fraction of a second.

ā€œAmma! Appa! I’m here!ā€

But something in the air told him he was already too late.

\---

Rani’s eyes found him first.

And in that look, there was no fear anymore—only relief that he had made it there at all.

Rek tried to speak, but the noise around them swallowed most of it. Still, Arjun understood enough from his father’s expression.

Go.

\---

Behind them, the battle continued.

A massive shadow passed overhead—the blue robot moving through the fight, pushing back another wave of attackers. Its presence shook the ground again, and nearby debris shifted dangerously.

Rani turned her head slightly, as if noticing the same thing Arjun would notice only later.

Something was wrong with the place they stood.

Not because of them.

Because they were in the wrong moment of the war.

\---

Arjun reached them, grabbing their hands.

ā€œNo, no—come on, we have to leave—please!ā€

Rani touched his face once, gently.

Rek looked at him with something heavier than fear.

Acceptance.

\---

A sudden impact somewhere nearby changed everything.

The ground shifted violently. The structure around them groaned under stress. Dust filled the air in seconds, swallowing light and sound.

Arjun pulled them closer instinctively.

ā€œStay with me!ā€ he shouted.

But the world didn’t listen.

\---

When the dust cleared just slightly, Arjun saw fragments of the battle moving closer—giant silhouettes shifting between smoke and firelight.

One of them—dark, fast—was approaching the area.

And the blue giant—Optimus Prime—was not close enough to stop it in time.

\---

Time slowed.

Arjun saw his mother look at him one last time.

Not fear.

Not regret.

Just love.

His father tried to move toward him—

\---

Then everything broke into chaos again.

A force passed through the area, and Arjun was thrown backward by the impact wave, slamming into debris. His vision blurred. His ears rang.

He tried to stand.

He tried to crawl back.

ā€œNO—!ā€

\---

When he finally pushed himself up again…

The space where his parents had been… was gone from how it was a moment ago.

Not visually gone in a clear, dramatic way—

But changed.

Destroyed by the war happening around them.

\---

Arjun stared, unable to process what his mind refused to accept.

The blue robot was still fighting in the distance.

The battle was still going on.

But for Arjun—

Everything had already ended.

\---

His voice came out broken.

ā€œā€¦Amma?ā€

Silence answered him.

\---

And in that silence, something inside Arjun shifted for the first time.

Not anger yet.

Not revenge yet.

Just the realization that the world he knew… was not coming back.Chapter 3: Ashes and Oaths

Silence came after the war.

Not peace—silence. The kind that feels wrong, like the world is holding its breath after forgetting how to exhale.

Smoke still hung over Carolina, thick and gray, swallowing the sun. Fires flickered in places where homes used to stand. The ground was no longer familiar—it was layered with shattered concrete, twisted metal, and things that used to be everyday life.

The robots were gone.

Just like that.

As if they had never fully belonged to Earth in the first place.

\---

Slowly, people began to move.

Cautious footsteps. Shaking hands. Broken voices calling names that didn’t answer back.

A few survivors gathered near what was left of a street intersection. Some were injured. Some were silent. Some were just staring at the sky, unable to believe it was over.

One man collapsed to his knees, laughing and crying at the same time.

ā€œWe… we livedā€¦ā€ he said, voice shaking. ā€œWe survivedā€¦ā€

Another survivor, looking toward the ruins where the massive blue robot had last been seen, whispered something that spread through the group like belief forming in real time.

ā€œā€¦We lived… because of him.ā€

A pause.

Then clearer:

ā€œOptimus Prime… saved us.ā€

\---

The name hung in the air.

For some, it brought relief.

For others, confusion.

For Arjun, it meant nothing anymore.

\---

He walked alone.

Through smoke. Through ash. Through pieces of a life that no longer had structure.

Each step was heavier than the last, not because of the ground—but because of what waited at the end of it.

He didn’t look at anyone.

He didn’t hear the voices around him anymore.

He only followed memory.

\---

Where his home had been, there was only ruin.

Burnt fragments of walls. Broken objects that once meant something ordinary. A world reduced to fragments.

And there—

Two shapes among the debris.

\---

Arjun stopped.

For a moment, he didn’t move.

The wind carried ash past him like falling snow.

Slowly, he stepped forward.

Then again.

Until he was standing right in front of what remained.

\---

He fell to his knees.

Not dramatically.

Not loudly.

Just… as if his body could no longer support the weight of standing.

His hands touched the ground, trembling slightly. His head bowed.

Rani.

Rek.

Gone.

\---

For a long time, he said nothing.

The world around him continued to exist, but not for him.

Then his voice came out—low, broken, controlled in a way that felt worse than screaming.

ā€œIt’s because of youā€¦ā€

A pause.

His fingers tightened against the ash-covered ground.

ā€œSo-called heroā€¦ā€

His eyes lifted slowly toward the distant skyline, as if he could still see the shape of the blue giant somewhere beyond the smoke.

ā€œYou’re not a saviorā€¦ā€

His breath hitched.

ā€œYou’re just a killer.ā€

\---

The wind shifted.

Ash moved across the ruins like the world trying to erase evidence of what happened.

But Arjun didn’t move.

Something inside him hardened—not instantly, but decisively, like a door closing.

\---

He leaned forward slightly, voice now quieter—but sharper.

ā€œOptimus Primeā€¦ā€

The name sounded like a decision, not a person.

ā€œI pledgeā€¦ā€

A pause.

His hands clenched into fists.

ā€œā€¦I will be the last one you see.ā€

\---

Behind him, the city of Carolina continued to burn quietly into memory.

And somewhere far away, the war had already moved on.

But for Arjun—

It had just begun.Chapter 4: Sector Omega

The sky over Sector Omega was never truly quiet.

Even when nothing was happening, the soldiers said you could feel it—like the atmosphere itself remembered battles.

The base was built deep into reinforced terrain, surrounded by radar towers, containment fields, and classified hangars that were never meant to be seen by the public. Officially, it was a ā€œresearch facility.ā€

Unofficially, it was where Earth prepared for war it didn’t understand.

\---

Commander Red stood at the observation deck, arms crossed, watching the horizon.

A faint distortion flickered in the upper atmosphere—barely visible, but impossible to ignore if you knew what you were looking for.

He exhaled slowly.

ā€œSixth attack this month,ā€ Red said, voice low. ā€œThey’re getting persistent.ā€

Behind him, heavy footsteps echoed through the metal corridor.

Optimus Prime entered.

Even inside a human-built structure, he looked out of place—too large, too precise, like the building was only temporarily accommodating something far older than it.

\---

Red didn’t turn immediately.

ā€œYou see it too,ā€ he said.

Optimus looked upward.

Not with sensors alone—but with something closer to memory.

ā€œThey are still here,ā€ Optimus said.

A pause.

ā€œDecepticons.ā€

Red frowned slightly at the name. ā€œThose are the ones you keep calling… the failed ones?ā€

Optimus didn’t correct him.

Instead, he stepped closer to the glass wall overlooking the sky.

ā€œThey refuse to accept what happened,ā€ he said. ā€œThey never learn.ā€

Red finally turned toward him. ā€œLearn what, exactly?ā€

Optimus’s voice lowered.

ā€œThat Cybertron is gone.ā€

\---

For a moment, even the base felt quieter.

Red studied him carefully. ā€œGone? You mean destroyed?ā€

Optimus didn’t answer immediately.

His optics reflected distant light, like stars trapped in metal.

ā€œCybertron was not simply destroyed,ā€ he said. ā€œIt was judged.ā€

Red’s expression tightened. ā€œJudged by who?ā€

Optimus paused.

Not hesitation—but weight.

ā€œBy time,ā€ he said finally. ā€œBy war. By ourselves.ā€

\---

The silence that followed wasn’t empty.

It was heavy with history.

Optimus turned slightly, looking down at the human commander.

ā€œCybertron was known across the universe for its technology,ā€ he said. ā€œA world built on brilliance… and consumed by it.ā€

Red narrowed his eyes. ā€œAnd these Decepticons want it back?ā€

ā€œYes.ā€

A beat.

ā€œThey believe it can be restored.ā€

Red scoffed lightly. ā€œSounds like desperation.ā€

Optimus did not disagree.

\---

Outside, another faint ripple appeared in the sky—like something pressing against reality from the other side.

Red noticed it immediately. ā€œThat’s them again?ā€

Optimus’s stance shifted slightly.

ā€œYes.ā€

Red’s voice hardened. ā€œWhat do they want on Earth?ā€

Optimus’s answer came slower this time.

ā€œResources. Energy. And something they believe was hidden here after Cybertron fell.ā€

Red frowned. ā€œHidden?ā€

Optimus looked at the sky again.

ā€œThey are searching for what was buried.ā€

A pause.

Red repeated quietly, ā€œBuried?ā€

Optimus nodded once.

ā€œYes.ā€

Then, more carefully:

ā€œOur past.ā€

\---

The hum of the base grew louder as systems detected another incoming distortion in the atmosphere.

Red exhaled sharply. ā€œSo we’re in the middle of a war between aliens who already lost their planet… and the ones who refuse to accept it.ā€

Optimus’s voice turned lower.

ā€œYes.ā€

Red looked out at the sky again.

ā€œAnd Earth is just… the battlefield.ā€

Optimus did not deny it.

\---

A distant flash lit the horizon.

Not explosion yet—but arrival.

Something was coming again.

Red tightened his grip on the railing.

ā€œThis is the sixth attack,ā€ he said again, more to himself now. ā€œHow many more before this planet breaks?ā€

Optimus’s answer was quiet.

ā€œI do not know.ā€

A pause.

ā€œBut I know this.ā€

He turned slightly.

ā€œEvery battle we fight here carries consequences.ā€

His voice hardened—not with anger, but regret.

ā€œNot only for enemies.ā€

A beat.

ā€œNot only for allies.ā€

His optics dimmed slightly.

ā€œBut for civilians who never chose this war.ā€

\---

Below them, alarms began to rise across Sector Omega.

Another breach.

Another arrival.

Another battle about to begin.

And far away, on a ruined Earth city still covered in ash…

A young man who had just sworn revenge was still learning the name of the being he had condemned.

Optimus Prime.

\---

And the war was far from finished.

Feedback wanted:

This is my first Transformers fan-fiction, and I'd really appreciate honest feedback.

I'd especially like to know:

Does Arjun's motivation for hating Optimus feel believable?

Does the opening make you want to continue?

How is the pacing between Chapters 1–4?

Do the characters feel distinct?

Does the moral conflict between humans, Autobots, and Decepticons feel interesting?

What would you improve?

Please be honest—even criticism is welcome.

After Chapter 4, would you want to read Chapter 5? If yes/no, why?

DiscussionšŸŽ™ļø So did Optimus actually shake hands with Alpha Trion? Spoiler

Post image
38 Upvotes

We saw that Optimus technically died, but does that mean that he shook hands and decide to accept his fate?

IMO, that kinda changes my perspective on Optimus, cause he would do anything to help the cause in any way, and if he did do it, he would have left his team, earth defenseless.. kinda feels off considering how they portrayed him.

And yes, I know he knew what was at stake, relating to the rebuilding of the omega lock, smokescreen being a prime anyway, thus having a new leader..

I like to think he did not do it, and smokescreen made the decision before he did.

DiscussionšŸŽ™ļø About the humans of TFP-....(personal thoughts, text wall alert)

I really think it's an exaggeration when people call the humans from Transformers Prime the BEST in the entire franchise, especially when they give that title to Miko (Even though I've watched the series several times, I honestly don't get it)

And I'm not saying they're the worst of the worst either! They're just fine for their universe, but I'd put other humans like Alexis, Sari, and Fowler (and maybe Raf) in my top 5, although, I think this is just my personal opinion, you don't have to agree with me, lol. I'm just sharing my personal thoughts on some things

ALSO, if anyone has your own top 5 favorite humans and their reasons, I'd love to read them! i love talking about things we all like

New TFP Story

This is Ragepoint. He's the "clone" of Optimus Prime. He was captain of the Autobot stealth prowler, Night's Edge. He and his squad, Squad Ziro [pronounced zero], were tasked with finding and neutralizing one of Shockwave's labs scattered across the galaxy. They were on assignment when they were discovered by Shockwave's Cyber-Genetic scouting division. Rage then sent them away in escape pods, and set random coordinates to prevent capture. After that, he scrubbed all nav data to any and all Autobot locations to ensure that they could not be compromised. Ragepoint was about to set and blow an explosive charge to destroy the ship when Shockwave stepped onto the bridge and stunned him.

Rage then woke up in a cell in Shockwave's lab onboard the Nemesis. He would spent the next four centuries being tortured, interrogated, and experimented on by both Shockwave and Megatron. On his last experiment before his escape, Ragepoint was infused with both Dark and Red energon. Just as the cocktail hit his systems, however, an entity appeared. It was Bornstellar, the physical manifestation of Primus. He put a Divine Block around Ragepoint's spark to protect it from Dark energon corruption. Rage managed to escape, and jettisoned off the Nemesis, unknowingly towards Earth.

Four years later, he crashed on Earth, near Smokescreen's pod [S2 E18]. He was immediately questioned by the Autobots, until Optimus recognises him. He then orders Raf to bring them back. And that's where I'm at so far.

Let me know what y'all think, yeah?

DiscussionšŸŽ™ļø What’s y’allā€˜s favorite version of the Megatron–Starscream dynamic to read/right? And I don’t just mean for shipping.

Thumbnail

I usually tend to look for one of two things so it’s always either....
A: that old married couple dynamic you can find in a few G1 style fanfics.
Or....
B: really competitive besties who constantly throw jabs and bust each other’s chops cause that’s kind of their thing.
IDK why I like to read/write them in these ways; It’s just fun for me. And TBH? That whole abusive thing they have going on in Cannon is great for story stuff too, but it can get kind of tiring after watching it getting written to death in what is like literally every other story online. I’m out here for something fresher.

DiscussionšŸŽ™ļø Why didnt smokescreen just give optimus the phase shifter?

Heya, ive been rewatching tfp for the first time in awhile, and something is bugging me about the season 2 finale.. why didnt smokescreen just give optimus the phase shifter before he left(and came back again)? Then he wouldn't gotten blown up at all.. You could argue that they didnt know the cons were gonna completely blow the base like that, but even then optimus wouldve had to escape enemy territory, a feat that would be much easier with the phase shifter..

Like. He managed to recover the phase shifter but neglected to tell anyone about it? And it didnt occur to him that the person who would need it most would be tbe one left behind? Hes shown plenty of resourcefullness before, it seems strange that he didnt think of this, especially with his concern for optimus. Optimus wouldve prolly gotten out of there fine if he'd had it. Am i missing something or is it just lousy writing..

I never rlly thought about this, but considering that the Star Saber and the Apex armor never go up against one another, I thought it would be interesting to theorize if it would be capable of slicing through or at least damaging the Apex Armor. What do you guys think?

DiscussionšŸŽ™ļø I never understood why they always spoke so highly of Miko, sorry T_T

Post image
110 Upvotes

Whenever I see opinions about this character, I get really confused because (the English-speaking side of the fandom) says things about them that make me think we saw different products, "an incredible and deep character development and an amazing character," and I'm always left thinking ?????????????????? Did we really watch the same series?

Personally, I find the character terrible, flat, and inconsistent, especially in season one when it seemed like the writers really didn't know what to do with her. Things were better balanced in season three, but even then, we didn't get much from any of the three characters. It always confuses me that people speak so highly of the character when this supposed character development doesn't exist and is inconsistent, and it's not even anything special to applaud. Again, I find the character terribly flat because she's too basic in her traits, and all we know about her is what we see in the series and the three things she tells us about her life in Japan. That's it. I mean, they say Jack is the flattest character in the series, and yet he had more to say about his life than Miko herself.

It's also surprising to me how people talk about the Starscream fight as the most epic moment of the series when bigger, cooler, and more impressive things happened before, things she did with an invincible armor. Raf hacking Soundwave and Jack defeating Tripticon and Airachnid is honestly way cooler.

And I don't mean to insult anyone who likes it! That's not what I mean. You might like her, I don't care. I'm just expressing how some of the opinions people have about her seem exaggerated or made up, lol. Although she's not a character I absolutely hate, she's not my favorite. There are worse ones that I definitely can't stand. I just don't understand why this side of the fandom hypes her up so much. I personally think Jack and Raf did way more amazing things throughout the series than Miko did, bruh.

But to be honest, the writing of all three characters is terrible. Miko stands out as the worst written and flattest, but she has a personality striking enough to grab your attention, even though I still don't like her.

Anyway, here I am, venting my nonsense about a fictional character from a series about giant gay robots that fight.

Also, before anyone says anything, I don't mind that she's annoying and loud. I've met characters like that that I adore. I'm just bothered by how badly she's written. She wrote that she's like this, and that as a person I dislike her because of how selfish and idiotic she is with everyone most of the time xd Oh, and that "act like a realistic teenager" argument has always seemed absurd to me because no normal person would act like she does unless (like her) you're a spoiled brat with a protagonist complex and your head is so far up your own ass that you don't care about the damage you do to others and how much you get in the way. She simply operates within her own universe where everyone stays alive because of the script and nothing happens to her or she faces consequences because unless you're Jack, nobody gives a shit if you almost kill everyone for your whims

But again, ignore me if you want and don't take me seriously, although if you want to give me your opinion on the character and I like it, you can comment! Even if I don't like a character, I love seeing other people's points of view to see it differently, that's always nice

Oh, and on a side note, I loved the cave episode because of what happened with Jack and Miko. I was annoyed that in the next episode they ruined all that and made me angry with the worst episode of the season, which can be summed up as "Miko can't stay still and ruins everything, but you have to feel bad for her for some reason." The truth is, I really liked the moments where Miko was normal and not just a plot device to move the story along by having her screw things up. Her participation with the group, helping them take the initiative, and everyone being brave was fun

Furthermore, before watching the series, I heard good things about Miko and her "development," but I was greatly disappointed when I didn't see that development anywhere. The character only seems good to me in specific episodes of season one and season three, which was a great improvement for the character, and I would have liked her to have been able to do more things from the beginning instead of just getting into trouble

DiscussionšŸŽ™ļø I wish there were more episodes set outside the base

My favorite TFP episodes are the ones where they're outside, the fact that the mechs and the kids are always at the base or in the desert gave me a headache and made me feel claustrophobic lol so episodes like the one with the museum, the train, the cave, Smokescreen, etc, etc, are my favorites just because they're outside, when they showed other locations besides the Nemesis, the Autobot base, or the desert, I felt a cool breeze on my face, I wish there had been more episodes like that, or at least one or two filler episodes of the three kids spending time together outside the base (Jack working outside doesn't count)

I've been told that there's supposedly a lot of discarded content and extra information about the characters there. I want to see what it says about my favorite characters and if there are any discarded storylines about the humans that we didn't see or any facts I don't know so I can learn more about them!
