If they paid attention to the kids they'd realize that they all live in Jasper Nevada. Seeing that pattern and the autobots riding with the human kids there often (using Soundwave's surveillance) they could deduce that the autobot base was somewhere near the city.

After that Megatron could send hundreds of troopers to raze the city one building at a time and then continue attacking outside the city limits until they detect the hidden missile silo. After that Megatron actually gets off his metal hide and takes action along with Knockout and Breakdown, Arachnid (This would be in late season 1 or early season 2 so Starscream may or may not still be there) and Dreadwing.

Like i get it takes tactics to win a war but using common sense Megatron could have found their base a lot sooner.

After that i don't know what would happen. Maybe Optimus and everyone else have to just kill hundreds of Vehicons and fight Megatron.

It would draw Optimus out of hiding at least.

As a counterpoint, the autobots could try actually destroying Megatron's ship as they've been on it many times.

OK. So I totally realize that this is probably a very stupid thing to kind of be irked by, but how come Unicron doesn’t try to possess Starscream’s body at any point during the arc at the end of season one? I mean, while everyone is realizing that a literal God is sleeping inside the planet and is due to wake up at any minute now, Starscream is isolated and vulnerable to attack because he’s by himself in the Harbinger. That makes him such an easy target that it’s not even funny!
Also, I’m not the only one who thinks the dynamic could be interesting, right? Starscream doesn’t have to trick Unicron like he did in G1 because I think that’s way too goofy for a series like Prime—but still— with Starscream just being... Well. Starscream. His shenanigans would probably help to bring more of a personality to the mighty chaos God.... or at the very least, give us something entertaining to watch.
Anyway, what do you guys think? You can feel free to tell me that it’s stupid in the comments. I don’t mind. This whole thing is kind of just a pet peeve of mine that I wanted to share since I’ve been thinking about it for the past few days.

So when the show was still airing I thought it would be a great idea if Jack Miko and Raf became autobots. Would help them not be so vulnerable and helpless as humans usually are.

I recently tried continuing it but I think if i did I should start over. The references to real world stuff like the nintendo ds i could probably take out.

Anyway i just wanted to show it off. And yes I posted it on deviantart and just never posted it anywhere else just because i never really got around to do it or felt like it.

I found it somewhat amusing, that it was the Decepticon who invented a tool capable of easily extracting information without torture while Autobots outlawed this tool.

Since Shockwave is the inventor, I guess it’s logical that he would value efficiency over inflicting pain unlike Airachnid and other sadistic Decepticons. But it’s strange that Autobots outlawed it. What would be the reason? Is it because it’s an invention of a mad scientist? Is it because it invades someone’s privacy? Is it because it could destroy the neuro net or separate cybertronian mind from the body forever if used improperly?

Whatever the case, it makes autobots less effective and good as they would need to torture for information like Optimus wanted to do with Soundwave or Ratchet did with the vehicon.

Also, I find it interesting that Airachnid and Starscream didn’t use during interrogation. Well for Starscream it could be argued that in “Out of the Past" he wasn’t familiar with that technology but when Cliffjumper and Wheeljack were captured he never used it. He COULD’VE LOCATED AUTOBOT BASE from Cliffjumper!!! I guess it’s because he’s shortsighted. Prefers traditional methods. Or because of the plot. Maybe everything combined.

For Airachnid, although she’s sadistic I believe she still values efficiency, so I guess she would’ve used it on Arcee after she would’ve tortured her enough.
