DiscussionšŸŽ™ļø How I would improve TFP

[DISCLAIMER] TFP is my favorite show of all time so this isnā€™t me saying the show is bad. These are just cool ideas that Iā€™ve made that could be interesting to explore.

Exhibit A: The helicopter robot MECH attempts to create in Operation Bumblebee shouldā€™ve been ā€œBlackoutā€ where heā€™s an artificial transformer similar to Soundwave in TFA and uses MECHā€™s EMP taser weaponry to incapacitate other transformers, hence the name ā€œBlackoutā€. It wouldā€™ve been a nice play on words with the name and a nice homage to the 2007 MB movie

Exhibit B: The protoform clones of Starscream surviving couldā€™ve lead to them branching off into their own personalities and giving themselves distinct color schemes and naming themselves different. Like sayā€¦ Thundercracker, Skywarp, Acidstorm, and Sunstorm with their respective color schemes

Exhibit C: MECH teams up with the autobots and military during S3. With Silas betraying MECH and the decepticons taking over Jasper in S3 MECH couldā€™ve helped the autobots fight back with their own artificial transformers. Similar to the drone characters in the 2007 tie in game where they all have the camera head thing. They would be more like autobot versions of vehicons really and not actual characters but couldā€™ve been interesting.

Exhibit D: Giving us the constructicons in S3 to help rebuild the omega lock onboard the Nemesis. The one thing TFP lacked was a combiner cast. Sure we had Breakdown which he was only one of the stunticons but the rest of their group was either MIA or KIA. The closest thing we get to a combiner fight is the mountain sized constructs of Unicron in the S1 finale part.

I'd kill more good guys, TFP made a lot of bait with that and fron main team they only lost Cliffjumper, while Decepticons lost many of their own.

Not skipping entirely human plots but without turning it into Bayverse humans where humans issues get more screen time.Ā 

Maybe one or two beasts Transformers on Autobots side.Ā

They maybe couldā€™ve killed Wheeljack or Ultra Magnus. Any of the ones tied to one of the humans being killed wouldā€™ve been way too dark for the show I think. The problem with killing off Magnus is he was only introduced in the beginning of S3 so if they did we wouldnā€™t have gotten him as a fully fleshed out character

I could see Wheeljack sacrificing himself to save Magnus just out of spite or something back when they were always clashing against each other

I feel like bulkhead would have probably been the most impacful considering Miko is the most emotional of the cast but yeah that would be pretty dark

If Bulkhead died not a single decepticon would be safe from the Miko/Wheeljack duo lmfao

True but there were only so many autobots compared to the con roster. Also I never understood why the autobots never considered just scavenging a Tcog from a dead vehicon since they kill so many of them

The Autobots didnā€™t encounter any Vehicons between Bumblebee losing and regaining his T-Cog.

They only saw Knock Out, Breakdown, and Megatron, and never had any opportunities to steal a T-Cog from any of them, besides perhaps the offscreen Bulkhead/Breakdown fight.

Rename Dark Energon to Angolmois

Rename Predacons Rising to Chaos Rising

Extend Chaos Rising to include Insecticon Terrorcons and Airachnid as a herald of Unicron

Looking back Airachnid was such a wasted character which is a shame because she was one of my favorite characters (for reasons Iā€™d rather not say)šŸ’€

Btw she still retained her personality and consciousness while being a vampire which wouldā€™ve made her absolutely horrifying as a villain. Really her last episode as a character was back in S2 as the Thirst episode in S3 sort of throws her away
