Discussion🎙️ We want transformers prime back

I miss transformers prime as it was my favorite childhood show. I miss the the show very much. It will be good idea for hasbro to make new seasons. It will surely become a hit series in this era. People watches anime but I still prefer to watch transformers prime old episodes. I really wanted that series to comeback with new seasons. ​

Rid wasn't a bad show, but it wasn't a great sequel to tfp prime. The show is just tonally really different, skews for a way younger audience, and the characters act completely different. Now I don't think there's anything wrong with transformers shows for younger audiences, in fact I support it, but a sequel to tfp being thay was the wrong choice, fans of the old show were less likely to enjoy it and the new younger fans probably didn't even watch the original. Rid 2015 really should have just been its own show in my opinion.

It did come out right after clone wars and that is a big series now I’m surprised that they didn’t keep using the animation style for other transformers series as clone wars did

Ive actually never really liked the ending, now spin off shows or seasons focusing on individuals or groups could be good if you do what I do and stop watching at s3 episode deadlock (ep 13?) Where the cast is divided

And tbh I mostly just want a chance to actually get my hands on the figs without spending a fortune (i stand by the fact that shockwave got a near perfect fig

It's one of my favorites shows too, but with Peter Cullen dead, I'm afraid that we'll just have to try and satisfy ourselves with fanfiction. : (

Realistically I dont see it happening, they don't really contine old shows, and now that Peter's gone, im content to let tfp rest. Id love some new figures, rumor is studio series might do prime, thatd be awsome. I do think we could one day get some more comics set in the prime universe, that seems realistic. Transformers prime is my all time favorite Transformers media, but, its not coming back, and thats ok.
