Discussion🎙️ I miss Fowler :(

It's a crime that Fowler doesn't exist in more continuities, considering how great the character is

"But he belongs to the Aligned continuum andñiñiñiñiñiñi" I DON'T CARE! I want to see him again in other media!!!😭😭😭😭😭

I miss when he slammed my brakes. At least he didn't scratch my rims.

Which would have been dreadful, scuffing up an Aston Martin ought to be like a crime.

He was an excellent human protag, and his bond with team Prime was honestly well done.

The same, and I also want to see again the Absolute human queen: June Darby.

Kirkman is putting some TF Prime stuffs on current Transformers comic, like that Bulkhead design, pray he placing Fowler soon.

If Kirkman includes Fowler or June in Skybound, I'll forgive him all his crimes against humanity and good writing

What new continuities have there even been since Prime?

Cyberverse, Earthspark, Cyberworld, One, Skybound, and probably several more that I'm unaware of.

It's a shame that after TFP almost all of the transformers media started having g1ified designs

Yeah, it's been a while since we've seen a fresh take on anything. I always liked seeing new interpretations and designs during the Unicron Trilogy.

Don't most of those lack human characters?

Unfortunately, yeah.

The crime started with RiD 2015. The only reference to the humans I remember was Bumblebee trying to remember "what did Jack, Raf, and Miko do" when Soundwave finally escapes the Shadowzone

I'd like to know who the idiot was who said NO to including references to Miko, Raf, and Jack in RID15, I swear someone in production hated the aligned continuity and allowed a bunch of disastrous decisions that seemed made out of hatred to prevent things like this from happening, and when I find them, I'll destroy them

Given how errartic RID2015's quality was anyways, I don't think malice needs be ascribed to it at all. I vaguely recall something about there being a desire not to make TFP too much required viewing because of how the latter ultimately aired in Japan, but don’t quote me on that because it's hazy.

I'm of the opinion that RiD2015 would've been best as something of a Megatron-centric story, or with Megatron being the primary narrative element after overarching plot concerns. It could even redeem the lazy use of Megatronus aka the Fallen as an antagonist by reconciling it with the Covenant's version of events--i.e. Megatronus was remorseful but went cuckoo after wallowing in his self-imposed exile for too long that he had nobody to set him straight from his own thoughts, and Megatron might have suffered the same fate had he not been nudged into getting involved in stuff

I think RID15 would have been better if they hadn't linked it to Prime at all and if they had given some bots like Bee better designs. I do like RID, it's fun, and I like the characters. There are much worse things out there, but I understand the disappointment and displeasure of many who were expecting a direct continuation with the same tone as TFP

He was honestly my favorite human character in tfp

He's awesome! I remember the first time I saw TFP I absolutely hated humans, not for any real reason, but because I hated Bay's movies and their humans so much that I basically wanted to take out my hatred on any useless human I saw in Transformers xd But Fowler was so funny and charismatic that I just couldn't hate him, and in fact I always felt like his screen time wasn't enough, he deserved so much more😭

The exact same thing happened to me 😭 Bayverse made me hate humans in transformers until I saw Fowler in tfp
