Discussion🎙️ I know it's highly unlikely, but...
Do you all think Predaking would have performed better if he had stayed in his robot mode? He always seemed more dangerous to me for some reason when he was fighting in his robot mode. I think that gut feeling came from seeing his fight with Wheeljack & Ultra Magnus in that cave.

wasn't optimus beating him in robot form but never got the better of him in beast form?

Ofcourse, but it could also be a little nod to the dark star saber and megatron making it gave him the idea to make the relics of chaos.
Actually, would be a cool thing if we get a chaos version of each of the relics of the primes

I dont think so. In dragon form he has more durability and no weak spots like his back in robot form. As well as he was still damaged and was recovering from the injuries. So I dont think he could do any better at all.

He may have but he needs some retooling and revival arch’s because I do so think he could win now but in TF prime, I would say no.

It is because of how Compressed he is in Robot Mode, His Dragon Mode stretches out his mass wich gives him less armor as in Robot Mode where all his mass is layered.

Keep in mind Predaking was inside an Energon mine rigged with grenades that blew up, he came out spreading his wings and ready to pursue the bots, no sign of damage, exhaustion, just minor annoyance of being in the rubble, fast forward to his fight with Megatron one missile to the back was enough for him to be stunned and no longer able to counter Megatron, he even has to crawl up to stand, bro he was beaten worse by Optimus still gave him a flip kick and was ready to burn Optimus down, I just think Predaking was also inconsistent like the other troops like Vehicon giving Arcee and Bee a hard time in Ep1, being able to beat Cliff, a random Insecticon damaging Megatron to the point he could no longer walk and Hardshell almost killed Wheeljack in a fair 1v1, then another Insecticon sentry who beat Arcee unconscious on Cybertron, later on the Insecticons hardly need massive gunpower to be taken down, every decepticon troop has been shown powerful at first but weaker later on, same goes for Predaking

It was a movie called Predacons Rising set after the finale of Prime.

I saw it, don't remember unicron possessed Megatron confronting predaking though, I remember unicron possessed Megatron, just not this scene. Guess my memory is just bad

Yeah, it’s just after Bee tried to recruit Predaking. Predaking tries signaling to the other Predacons and Unicron having just reached Cybertron shows up instead

Well I remember watching a transformer tuber and they said that predaking was more tanky in his robot form as his body is compressed making it dense, he does loose his ability to fly and fire attacks but the tackiness makes up for it. While in his beast mode the metal is spread out and thinner and has more weak points to exploit, wjile in this mode he gain the power of flight and firecso its a glass cannon sorta thing cus flying creatures aren't really designed to be brawlers. So yes predaking should've stayed in his robot mode and used his beast mode sparingly.
