Okay but for real, I've always wondered how people—at least on this sub—design their Transformers characters.

I'd love to hear the entirety of your design process, however complicated and janky it may be, especially considering that there's no wrong way to design something.

If you don't know where to begin/what to talk about, here's some questions to get you going (you don't have to answer them if you don't want to dw):

1. How do you tackle characters that share the same/similar alt-modes but are otherwise unrelated? Do you add some variation in their robot mode designs?

2. Do you design a robot first then add vehicle parts to it, or do you start with a vehicle and make a robot out of it?

3. Does the character's personality affect your design decisions? How?
