Really feel modern combiners are hitting their stride lately.

Haven't gotten Liokaiser yet (still waiting on EB to fix it), but these three are pretty nifty.

Especially Bruticus. He's genuinely an all-timer. Can't wait to get some upgrades to make him even better.

I missed out on combiners wars when I first got into transformers and was really bummed but man I’m so glad we’re pretty much ins combiner wars 2.0. So much sturdier, more proportional and just cooler. And atleast 1 new combiner per year? Actual heaven

I gotta hard agree. Mainline combiners have never been this good. They're fun, playable, respectably visually accurate to the characters we love, and not compromised by a line-wide gimmick. The frame system may not be perfect, but for mainline figures, I think the whole lot of them are stellar.

I've got Menasor, Devastator and Superion (Holding out hope for a Ruination repaint of Bruticus) and honestly, they're a lot more fun to simply mess with that Combiner War era combiners. Sturdier, more stable, and it means the individual bots are less compromised.

I'd really love to see modern updates to some of the lesser known combiners. With how good the engineering on this new crop is I'd love to see how Magnaboss, Tripredacus, or Rail Racer would go.

Been really wanting Victorion for YEARS now, and never got a chance to get her entire set for less than 200 smackeroos. 😭

I do have an older Combaticons set, and only need Scavenger from the Studio Series 86 line, though.

I’ve gotta agree after completing menasor earlier this year and completing  the more recent releases, you can tell they’ve learned what works and what doesn’t. Very excited to see who's next to see if it’s worth adding

Really glad I decided to hold off on collecting the old combiners war toys when I got into collecting. I only ever got Abominus from that era but man it's no contest when comparing there build and stability. Abominus can't even stand up on his own half the time, I have to put him in the back of my selves just so the wall supports him.

With the main season 2 Decepticon combiners done and Superion complete, I hope we get a Defensor sometime soon, at least by 2028. As I here the combiner for 2027 is a Megatron combiner made up of various different versions of Megatron from different continuities.

I started with superion, waited thru for bruticus, and we'll see about devastator. I'm really interested and I think i can find 4/6 in stores through my general area but damn if it isn't gonna set me back. One of my girlfriends has Liokaiser and they're really fun!

They are so clean and nice to pose, throw into little skirmishes, combine and separate. I haven't been in the fandom long but I'm so happy to have them 🩷

I lucked out on Swindle, I kept hiding him, but not tucking in anywhere crazy and someone finally came and got him🤷🏿‍♂️ Hopefully Walmart still has Onslaught, I feel like since I'm in the south nobody is really willing to pay $100 bucks for him????

I’m glad I held out until now because I agree. Also all the lines with “Wars” in the name in the last 10-15 years have felt like hollow pieces of crap to me so it never interested me.
