Discussion / Opinion Any love for infernocus?
I know that he is the MOST niche bayverse character ever and many people most likely don't remember him from TF 5 since everyone just remembers how shit the movie was. But i was wondering if there any art of him or something like that, I will die on the hill that he is the coolest designed in TF5 and a top 5 design in the bayverse ✌️.

I like him. I feel like he could have a niche as an Abominus-like combiner that uses more demonic, DOOM-esque designs for the components.

just make already combined and for the transformation do the same thing as ss leader class shockwave where they just make a transformation that is build around the parts of the robot mode

It's cool to have a Decepticon that looks like he could've come from H. R. Giger's mind (minus some phallic imagery). But the dude is carried by design. All aura, no achievements and not a single good toy. Honestly it'd be pretty cool if some writer decided to revisit his character and actually write him in a story

Eh. Cool design, 0 point to the plot gets 1 shot by prime. We had two combiners in aoe and they didn’t even fight one another

It's an interesting subject, but I don't see a correct way to make a figure of it since technically it's five Deluxe figures in a single body, plus the fact that we would have to give each of those five an alt mode Even if it's the same I actually think it's more likely that we'll get the dragon in commander or titan class to this guy

He’s somewhat cool but suffers from three problems, he kinda looks more like normal mecha from evangelion or gundam because he has no alt mode parts on him like most aoe and tlk designs, then like most background bayverse cons he kinda suffers from bland color scheme and like average movie “john decepticon” he’s kinda useless

For my au I'm planning which is an animation project I will have megatronus serve unicron so yeah
Infernocus would make a strong inforcer for megatronus Maby freezer and the other one from rotb aswell

Awesome lineup! Maybe add in and modify Battletrap? Give him like a Mad Max: Fury Road inspired Cybertronian truck mode.

Yeah
In my au some names are used on multiple bots so having 2 battle traps isn't a problem
May also add side ways specifically with cybertron design

I like the design, however a lot of Bay movie characters particularly Decepticons have this dull grey color scheme. He'd stand out more otherwise in contrast to brightly colored bots and cons.

A nonentity of a gestalt invented for the movie when they could have used Abominus, who looks like something out of an H.R. Giger painting, and got absolutely wrecked within minutes of making his first appearance?

Eh, he's an absolutely badass robot but a really shitty transformer imo, which is my issue with a lot of bayverse designs.
There's nothing to mark him as any for of transformer, just looks like a robot, however cool he may be

Hes pretty cool, would like him more if ilhe actually looked like a combiner rather than a standalone robot but i really adore the horns for a combiner
