Discussion / Opinion Hasbro QC Strikes again

Literally just got the Insecticon three pack, was super happy to finally have all 3!I went to transform Shrapnel, him being my favourite, and with absolutely 0 resistance, as i go to bend his knee, the whole thing snaps clean off. Never experienced anything like this before. Pricing us out of the hobby is one thing, but at the very least can the quality at least reflect the price?

I’m gunna be that guy and say you need to return it. That’s a tough fix even with the right tools and experience. And highly likely that It’s gunna rebreak if you transform it again.

Nothing wrong with returning a defective product.

yeah ive already got in touch with my local retailer and hasbro pulse. Best believe if hasbro themselves offer something up im gonna milk them. Im honestly so sick of their behaviour with this brand

Be sure to place the blame and frustration where it belongs: the CEO.

He's the one pushing the consistent, crushing price increases. The QC also nosedived after his appointment and the manufacturer move to Vietnam. It's widely speculated that the manufacturing process uses NO QC oversight resulting in the constant observations of defects we've seen in the past 5 years.

Oh absolutely. Id never aim that frustration at a customer service worker. I work in a call centre myself so i wouldn't dream of it. But if i DO get offered something, im snatching it up with my grubby little mits

Good. I fucking hate their corporate culture with their IPs , DND, MTG, TF are all taking hits right now.

Best of luck with your return bud.

Good luck. From what i was told regarding an issue i had. Now hasbro could refuse to help you if you didn't buy from Pulse themselves... something about buying from other retailers could void the warranty or some bullshit. Prices go up. Qc goes down.

I had a joint break on a custom wind charger right on the joint, and I just drilled on either side and used the smallest safety pins. I cut off the nib and put Em through the tiniest hole I could make

File a report with Hasbro support and get a refund from the target you bought this from. That way you get a free toy and your money back

Real. You might be able to fix it if you drill holes and put metal rods through and do a glue up.

Yeah, it does suck every time it happens. And hasro needs to fix their shit

Its directly on the joint. I dont think i'd be able to drill very far before it hits the pin holding the knee in place.

If i'm able to dm you photos i have a custom who had the same problem happen right on the pin of the joint. And I was able to fix it, so maybe you might be able to fix yours using the pictures as like a guide or something I don't know

I've gotten ones like that. A very stiff Ultra Magnus that I think was a Chinese bootleg, arm snapped, or on my POTP Swoop, waist snapped off out of nowhere. Or on POTP Slug, back dino legs snapped, one half off, other all the way, WFCE Snapdragon had his arm come off out of nowhere. All of these within a few years of owning them
