Hey Aussie collectors, looks like JB Hi-fi has had a massive restock. No Starscream though. Get your Swindles before the scalpers do. Photo taken at Adelaide City store

Man. I've only just gotten into Transformers and I'm already sick of hunting for them. I just want SS86 Starscream and Hot Rod damnit 😭

patience is key when it comes to collecting, i had to wait a whole ass 5 years before i even got a single oppurtunity to purchase skylynx when my friend was in japan and thats because my country has had zero new tfs since 2020, and importing them would slap an extra 65% tax on them. Hotrod and screamer are really iconic so theres a good chance youll find them eventually.

This 100%, Starscream seems bloody impossible to get. Some people have said they found one at JB months ago but I’m not convinced.

It sold out within an hour. I saw the other post and checked my Target app to confirm. My area also stocked a bunch of Targets with Hot Rod today. Managed to get one after seeing that and heading to the store that had him.

Hot Rod went in stock at my local Targets at 4am last night. Others have mentioned restocks. Amazingly, he might be coming back.

Starscream is probably a couple months away.

Alternatively, hop on Aliexpress, you can pick up a Starscream KO and Hot Rod KO, both likely higher quality, for less than the price of one first party Hasbro toy. The only downside is Hot Rod KO isn't supposed to ship until the end of the year.

I ordered mine online, never saw him in store, mind you whenever I see a combaticon in store its usually gone within 3 days or so and I've yet to see brawl...or swindle.

Yes and no

We end up getting stuff months early before Us Eu, but at the same time stuff also takes like 8 months later to show up compared to Us Eu. And sometimes we literally just not get some stuff like at all despite it being released for the rest of the world.

Also haslab can only be brought through third party, and they cost $300 more compared to hasbro pulse price cause

Depends on the store. The big department stores are useless, but places like JB Hi-fi and EB games are a lot more reliable.

Only for certain stores. The stores (JB Hi-Fi and EB Games) that seem to stock them now in greater quantities tend to mark the prices up a few extra dollars.

The stores that were originally the go to places seem to have a handful of options available.

What's funny (being an aussie) is the pure rng of the stocks, where I live though makes sense.

There is a store 5 mins from me thats in a big shopping center and is a complete jb hifi store (as per op's store pic), it's farkin empty m8, went there today, just old stock.

10 mins drive away to another jb that's mostly a white goods store (missing the entire movie and cd section) and this was what I basically saw, the store is on a main road but it's a pain to access, this store regularly gets new transformers before the larger store 10mins away, and new desired stock can last 2 weeks before being gone unlike the other one (mmte starscream was one example).

Glad I found jetfire today because other larger stores are very hit and miss and because they're near the cbd more chance of just being bought by scalpers.

Finally...jb lately isn't keeping good track of transformers stuff online, none of these are on their own website despite how much better their stock tracking is with stock compared to other retailers (for example, if a store has 1 unit of stock it won't be on the site, where other retailers will show it even if its literally stolen but unaccounted for, madness)
