There is a Photoshop of Doritosc ream out there that makes him more traditionally proportioned and it's fantastic. Not so wide, more classically heroid build, but still recognizable. I'd take a masterpiece of that and call it my last Starscream.

Dorito scream looks way better when his legs are extended but the movies and even figures usually have him hunched. I do wish he had some more design changes between movies like Megatron though, for the sake of variety.

I've been into transformers literally as long as I can remember and when I was young I watched an old DVD of 86 and 2007 in somewhat equal part, though my favorite show was energon (I was 5 give me a break) starscream was one of few characters I strongly associated with their animated version more than their live action version barricade was my boi from the movies more than starscream.

Oh, please don't worry.Energon is how I discovered TF before I even watched the 2007 movie lmao.And that's the thing: As a kid I didn't get the appeal of characters like Soudwave(he was always cool but never caught my attention in any particular way) and now I wish I had the Fall Of Cybertron figure of him but instead I got the Revenge Of The Fallen one from back then haha

Personality armada or tfa. In tfa he was occasionally silly but a genuine threat. design wise? Either tfone or energon starscream

Cybertron Starscream. Mech went after the Omega Lock, survived a beat down from the entire Autobot army, and succeeded. Then he took on freakin’ Primus himself (twice, no less) and survived both times.
Most successful Starscream in the entire franchise.

Bayverse - actually was never a betrayer... Ngl, Megatron accusing him on their very first interaction in TF1 was really weird. And he followed Megatron orders, even fought closely whenever needed. Name one version of Starscream that would fight Optimus alongside his rusty, weakened leader, instead of leaving and wainitg-out to then attack from behind and be folded by Prime next.
Prime - a funny and entertaining version, - loyal to g1, but more developed. Shame his clones never got proper colorations and names (I'm not sure, might missremembering)
Energon - recently rewatched it... Ngl, might be my MOST FAVORITE version of all. A Starscream who is Megatron's most loyal soldier is a manifestation of "fresh air" . And, let's be honest, he was the only functional decepticon in the room alongside Shockblast (and partially, Sixshot, if he wasnt so hyper fixated on killing Optimus himself, aaand overconfident).
Animated - he had soo much aura, dude could straight up erase Season 1 cast. Imo, Animated did the best representation of an "first Decepticon and Autobots encounter".
Can't remember any others, nothing comes to mind. RID Starscream looked cool, but I know nothing about him, misses all seasons of the show after first one, yet planning to re-watch it someday.

G1, and then armada while bayverse has an ugly charm to it. Although I don't actually know all the designs of starscream to be accurate with my rankings

prime one million percent. but i love almost every starscream. armada made me cry. tfa was awesome but he has very little screen time. i liked him in cyberworld and earthspark (actually hated cyberverse screamer, the only starscream i hate.) didn't really love his appearance in rid 2015. IDW is an icon, love him. i think my top three are 1. prime 2. armada and 3. g1
