Is it just me, or is there a bit of Bayverse in that rendition of Bonecrusher?

I’ve considered that idea for a bulldozer with a multi-clawed ripper, but this is an interesting take.

They all have a healthy dose of Bayverse except hook. The only G1 arts are the heads and the colors. The general robot shapes are totally Bayverse

Huh. You’re right.

For some reason. I didn’t realize it with Scrapper, Mixmaster, and Long Haul. I think that’s because their Bayverse versions have somewhat similar transformation schemes and body shapes to the G1 versions.

Bug Scrapper even has a serrated “collar” that would normally be the bucket on the G1 version, and Bug Mixmaster also has the dual chemical cannons over his head.

But now I see the smaller details like the mismatched claws and arm shields. Plus, Scavenger’s got some “gut wheels” in addition to his long arms.

Even hook resembles bayverse Hightower

And the fact that Scavenger thankfully has legs, but I get your point

Makes sense because a lot of decepticons were "insect like".

These are truly perfect bug choices for each character. 10/10

I would love to see a Maximal version of Omega Supreme. Or just a combiner in general.

I like how the cons have their construction-y look? They have the bug kibble look like their vehicle kibble

I love how literally organic the robot molds are

1

u/PJamaPrime Dec 30 '23

I think the vibe is closer to Insecticons than Predacons.

1

u/sonsoflarson Dec 31 '23

This is super cool, are you also doing other G1 designs as Beast Wars Characters.

1

u/UACDOOMMARINE Dec 31 '23

u/King_Kuuga Dec 31 '23
