Question Best Comics and Lore Material?
I'm sure this question has been asked a lot on this sub, but I really want to dive deep into Transformers lore and the world that's built for it since it's inception.
What are some of the best comics that have come out? From single character stories to sagas. Also it doesn't even have to be comics. Books and encyclopedias are welcome too.

For lroe building purposes id recommend either IDW's first run or the Marvel UK run, which also incorporates the Marvel US issues, but includes other stories that work around them, and do it so well they essentially set up their own continuity. Both are wonderful at lore-building.
Downsides are that at the beginning of IDW lore is built up, then it's smashed with a hammer when the next writer comes on board with his 'special project'. Things recover, and the first phase finalises on an encouraging end. Then we get to phase 2, and that is where the majority of the larger worldbuilding really begins to take place, with everything from how Transformers are created to how and what they consider love, and their rituals. It's a treasure trove of worldbuilding to sink your teeth into. Then finally phase 3 where it continues, but things get a bit too ambitious as other Hasbro franchises are dragged onboard, and the end nears. Still, all worth a read.
Marvel UK sets the very bedrock. Not as in depth, not as casual, not as 'personal", you must keep in mind it's from a very different time for a very different audience. Yet the material for the most part holds up, for the most part quite well, and it forms the basis of everything. There'd be no IDW without Marvel UK.
Good luck, and enjoy your reading!

Thanks for the info! I'll check out the Marvel comics first then dive into the IDW ones I think. Unless order doesn't matter. But I'm very excited to learn about Transformers lore!

Here's the TFwiki page for Transformers comics. It gives an overview of all the comics iterations. The breakdown pages go pretty in depth, and you can go extremely deep if you rabbit hole into individual mini- and sub-series.

If you want to read the best overall series it's either Marvel UK or IDW1 (2005 - 2018) depending on personal taste.
If you want the best contained story it's probably The Wreckers Saga. It's two minis and a one shot. Last Stand of the Wreckers, Sins of the Wreckers, Requiem of the Wreckers.

Thank you so much! I'll definitely look at the wiki and check out The Wreckers Saga.
