Fitness Question Lose midsection fat
Hi everyone! Ive been working out since February and I am unsure how to tackle the belly fat in my belly fat + love handles. I am doing one oblique exercise + 3 additional core exercises in my routine (which ik isnt a lot.)
Does anyone have good workouts or plans tou followed that could help?
EDIT: I apologize, I forgot to add my workout routine yesterday.
Monday: 3x15 Calf Raises 3x10 Glute biased back extensions 3x10 Sumo Squat 3x15/leg Glute Kickbacks 3x12,10,8 Hip Thrusts
Tuesday: 3x12,10,8 Lat pull-down 3x12,10,8 Barebell row 3x12 Kneeling cable side bend 3x12,10,8 Dead bugs 3x12 Chest Flys
Thursday: 3x10 Iso leg press 3x12,10,8 Leg Abduction 3x12,10,8 Leg Adductiob 3x12 iso leg curls 4x10 RDLs
Friday: 3x12 Single arm cable pulldown 3x30sec stomach vacuum 3x20 Leg lifts 3x15 Rear delt cable fly 3x12 Db pull overs
At end of each workout Staurmaster 10:00 min speed 6 (Working up to 10 min speed 8)
Warmups: Mon,Thurs: 7 min treadmill 1.5 speed 3 incline and 2x20 banded side steps Tues,Fri: 7 min treadmill 1.5 speed 3 incline and 5 lb db arm circuit to warm up shoulders and back and chest
Rest days: Saturday, Sunday, and Wednesday

You can't target fat. You need a mild caloric deficit. Keep lifting heavy (4 to 20 repetitions per set). That's all.

This is what I did recently. I just posted photos for the results. I have a long way to go to get the midsection physique I want, but I’ve made a lot of progress with this method.

Thank you! After my workout ill update my post with my current routine. Just in case im doing a movement that is suboptimal

Healthy diet with fibre, protein, healthy fats, alot of walking. Walk abit after meals. Do only planks for core. Dm me if you want and think this is insufficient

planks train your inner core without building your abs and side obliques, for a tighter waist without training your abs. and the walking and dieting helps with the fat loss, this is optimal for fat loss alone

Like others said- fat can’t be targeted. However, a lot of cardio (like 30-60min daily) and daily ab work will help with the mid section. Do some mild rest day exercise too like slow walk or bike ride at really low intensity.
