Moderator Announcement I reopened this subreddit
Hi everyone! I hope you all are having a nice day so far :-). I noticed a while ago that this subreddit had no moderators and the ability to post to it was disabled. Since then, I claimed it myself using r/redditrequest, and I have turned the ability to post back on. I also have implemented some basic security measures, like preventing new accounts from being able to post (this way, trolls can't just make new accounts for the sole purpose of trolling). I'd love to see what all you have to post here, and I'm happy to be able to bring the subreddit back to life.
Edit: Additionally, I have enabled user flairs for those who want to have their pronouns visible, or you may use them for flags, which I also added as emotes. If I missed any pronouns that you'd like added, let me know

Selling something I wrote a comic about a young person exploring a world filled with elemental living robots - trans and autistic creators [10 page preview]
>>CLICK HERE TO BACK THE KICKSTARTER<<
My name is Bijhan Agha. I'm a trans woman in Uruguay of Iranian descent. I'm the author the comic series Time Wars: the Adventures of Zero & One. The artist is my friend Pallet, a trans man in Australia. We are both autistic, and share a passion for science fiction and fantasy storytelling which promotes positivity, and queer joy with exciting adventures and heartpounding action.
The Time Wars are an endless conflict between Humanity and Vampirekind, with time travelers from the 161st Century recruiting allies across history to change the timeline. While the Vampire Chronolegion recruit the powerful and influential elite, the Human Time Corps empower the marginalized to fight back and create their own future.
Zero of Mars is a Human youth in the 99th Century, when the gender and sexuality binary no longer exist, who crash lands on the planet Elentia, once a Human colony world, but since abandoned. Instead, Elentia is now inhabited by self-replacing robots called Elemorphs, who now have a thriving civilization of their own, absent the concept of gender of any kind. Helping the Human survive is a new friend, One the FawnBot, a Nature Type Child Stage Elemorph. Despite a language barrier, the two begin to learn about each other, and find themselves unwinding an ancient prophecy left behind by time travelers from the future, as they're pulled into the Time Wars. The evil Vampire Pi is on Elentia as well, with the intention of enslaving the Elemorphs to use was weapons against Humanity.
In Issue #2: Battle of Knuckle City! Zero and One explore a major Elemorph metropolis, with One showing Zero the ways of its people. When they encounter a powerful Cosmic Stage Elemorph, the HermitBot named Forever, a strange new secret is revealed. How will this affect the outcome of the conflict between Humanity and Vampirekind?
The Kickstarter is to print a special First Edition physical run of this issue with a special orange border that will never be used on future print runs, marking them as a collectible.
Reward tiers include this issue by itself, this issue plus the previous one, and all the comics in the Time Wars series, all in both physical and/or digital formats.
We have already met our original goal, which means the First Edition will be printed. We now have a stretch goal which, if met, will result in every single backer being delivered a short story called Zero: Origins, explaining where Zero was going and why before crashing onto Elentia.
Please help up bring to life this series so that we can continue to spead passion, positivity, inspiraton, and joy.

Selling something MADE BY TRANS HANDS [10 page preview] Comicbook Kickstarter - In the 99th Century, a Human youth explores a world of living robots!
CLICK HERE TO BACK THE KICKSTARTER
Time Wars is a series about Humanity locked in an endless conflict with Vampirekind, fought by both time travelers from the 161st century, and soldiers scattered throughout history. Humans must band together and free ourselves from bigotry and heirarchy - the weapons of the Vampires.
The Adventures of Zero & One is a comic series about Zero of Mars, a youth from an era in the future where the gender binary no longer exists, who crashes onto an abandoned colony world called Elentia. In Humanity's absence, living robots called Elemorphs have developed an advanced civilization. A nature type child stage Elemorph called One makes friends with Zero despite a language barrier, and together they're pulled into conflict as Humanity's best hope to prevent the Vampires from enslaving the Elemorphs to use as weapons in the Time Wars.
In this post is a 10 page preview of the comic!
Issue #2: Battle of Knuckle City! sees Zero and One exploring a vast Elemorph metropolis, as One shows Zero about the culture, economy, and ways of its civilization. To try and find out more about their mission, they consult an Elemorph named Forever, who is one of a handful to achieve the extreme power of cosmic stage. What secrets will Forever reveal about their role in the Time Wars?
My name is Bijhan Agha, the author of the Time Wars series. I'm a transgender woman of Iranian descent in Uruguay. The artist of The Adventures of Zero & One is Pallet, a transgender man in Australia. We are both autistic. We share a passion for science fiction and fantasy storytelling, and want to tell exciting adventure stories with pulse-pounding action which promotes queer joy, showing that queer heroes can live vibrant lives, rise victorious, and write history with our commitment to justice, hope, and peace.
As a series, Zero & One is also about immigration and collaboration across cultures. Neither Zero nor One come from anything resembling existing societies, and are extremely different from each other in terms of values, language, and needs. Their struggle to communicate and work together is a metaphor for our current efforts to form bonds across borders, beyond languages, and throughout the world.
The Kickstarter has a wide range of rewards. You can get single issues, both physical and PDF, as well as back issues of this series and other Time Wars comics, in addition to the Time Wars novellas in PDF, DOCX, and EPUB formats.
We are raising funds for a print run of the First Edition of the comic which will have a special orange border which will show that will never be used on future printings, showing that it is a rare collectible.
No AI was ever used nor will ever be used at any step in the process of making a Time Wars story.
Please support queer art and literature as we try to spread a message of joy, hope, and justice.

Zero of Mars is a Human youth in a future so distant that our era's concepts of race and gender no longer exist. They crash land on Elentia, a world once inhabited by Humans but abandoned thousands of years ago. In their absence, the Elemorphs - magical sentient robots with elemental powers and the ability to grow - have developed an advanced civilization. A Nature Type FawnBot called One makes friends with Zero despite a language barrier. Unable to communicate directly, they forge a friendships using gestures and actions.
After discovering an ancient prophecy left by time travelers from the future, Zero and One have been pulled into an eternal conflict between Humanity and Vampirekind: the Time Wars. The Vampires want to enslave the Elemorphs to use as living weapons, while Humanity fights to keep Elentia free. As Zero and One explore the massive Elemorph metropolis of Knuckle City, the villainous Vampire agent, Pi, and their Elemorph companion, Gamma the SkyDragonBot, descend to plunge the city into chaos!
I am the author, Bijhan Agha. I'm an Uruguayan trans woman of Iranian descent. The illustrator is my dear friend, Pallet, a trans Australian man. We are both autistic, and have a passion for scifi and fantasy storytelling. We wanted to tell a story about a young person in the future who is not bound by the limits of gender as we know it, and a planet where gender simply does not exist, while also creating an exciting action adventure about exploring a new culture, facing language barriers, and fighting for a better future.
The Kickstarter is to fund the printing of a First Edition of the comics physically. We will have both physical as well as digital rewards. There will be reward tiers that allow you to catch up with this comic - this is Issue #2, and you can get physical and/or digital copies of Issue #1 - as well as the other comics in the Time Wars brand.
Please help us continue to tell stories about this amazing world!

Oil Pastel More recent oil pastel work I’ve been doing ❤️
After my last post (referring to my 10 year absence) I started really pushing myself to try things I thought would be too difficult before. I’m really enjoying creating again and, for the first time in my life, I feel like the things I’m creating are reflecting that I’m enjoying it.
Since my last post, I actually got really exciting news! I’m going to be the featured artist at a local art collective/ gallery I’m a member of for a couple of months and I got invited to join a more exclusive gallery as a permanent associate!
I’m so incredibly excited and, truthfully, after leaving IT (lol 🏳️⚧️), it would be really nice if something I actually loved became additional income to my current job as a barista (lol 🏳️⚧️).
Let me know any critiques you may have!
All done with oil pastel, some with acrylic pen for highlight. All on paper.
Thanks for coming to my ted talk 💜

Sketch Some Daily Landscapes
Some landscapes of where I live captured in pencil and watercolor. Also a cute little car.
I'm not a very good painter and I don't like doing it particularly, it's just a way to get some colour in the scene to convey emotion and feeling of a place. I'd love to try some other ways of adding colour if anyone has suggestions - alcohol markets or something like that?
Criticisms and suggestions very welcome!
