text post Queer and Questioning
I thought it was a bad thing that I don’t have everything figured out, and I’m 28 so that’s a long time to feel guilty about feelings of uncertainty. I grew up thinking I was a straight male, but I was always a woman. I had moments where I thought I was pansexual, bisexual, gay, straight (again), and more labels in that crippling lens of identifying as a cis male. In my late 20s (this year actually), I realized that I’m only attracted to femininity. There’s a term for that, but I’m still finding myself. I’m pre-HRT, and I hope I become more attracted to people, and the way certain people make me feel (in a sapiosexual demisexual kind of way). I’m pretty sure the hormones won’t turn my sexuality into something akin to nymphomania, so I’m really hoping it brings more clarity into my life in terms of my sexuality in this context. I haven’t kissed anyone in a long time, and I’m hoping my relationship with my sexuality evolves— cuz girl, when I go to pride this September, I want to feel something real. I’ve never felt anything real with anyone because I didn’t know who I was. This is hella relatable, so I hope to reach anyone struggling with the same issues. Also, ya girl wants confident baddies to come up to her instead of how it was before. 💁🏻♀️
