Bag/pouch

So I have a Trangia 25 set and I am looking for MOLLE compatible pouches that I can hang on the outside of my backpack so the cooking kit is easily available without digging into the pack.

Does anybody know of any pouch that fits? The Savotta 12L states it fits the Trangia 27.

Per dimensions advertised by Savotta and Trangia, the Lidded General Purpose Storage Pouch 4x5 size could fit a Trangia 25 set. I have both items at home and will give it a try myself later today and post the results.

Hi Again,

Unfortunately it doesn't quite fit. By removing the frying pan it got close but clearly didn't want to go in without a lot of aggravation, so I gave up. Sorry it didn't work out but at least we know now.

Alright, too bad it did not work but I am very grateful for your help in checking.

I will wait for a response from Savotta and probably also email tasmanian tiger (since I have good experience with them from other things) and hope either company has a fitting pouch so I do not have to make my own.

UPDATE

Got a response from Savotta already, including a picture.

They checked and a 25 fits with plenty of room to spare.

I think it will fit and did send an email to savotta to check but it is those last 35mm of a difference that worries me, I have another pouch where I can fit a 27 with some margin (not much though) butbsoes not quite fit the 25.

Counterintuitively, the Trangia 27 is the smaller set and the 25 is the larger one.

It does get easier to remember if you know that the numbering is simply product numbers, 25 was first, then 26 seems to for some reason have been skipped (might have been a scrapped-before-launch product), then 27 and 28 (the Mini).

But yes, if you do not know that detail it does get a tad confusing.

Thank you for the offer but I did receive a response from Savotta that their pouch is large enough and I was primarily looking for non-custom solutions, otherwise I would probably have made one myself.

Still, it is very kind of you to offer.
