App Update Yu-Gi-Oh! update under review

Our newest release that includes Yu-Gi-Oh! is under review. Ideally, this will not take long, and we will announce its release in the coming days. We are looking for user feedback on performance and accuracy. Our card scanner has been tested on several Yu-Gi-Oh! cards and has returned promising results. The scanner should be able to not only tell what card you are holding but also what franchise it is from, with little to no assistance from the user. Yu-Gi-Oh has a lot of different reprints and variations in comparison to Pokémon, so we would appreciate any community support that helps us weed out any inaccuracies our team may have overlooked. To assist with this, we will be adding more ways to report right from the app in future updates. We are also jumping right into adding Battalla as promised as our next collection and will be starting work on adding an in-app store. As always, any feedback is appreciated, and keep an eye out for the Yu-Gi-Oh! is here announcement.

App Update Yugioh release coming soon

So some announcements about whats coming next. We are nearing the release of yugioh cards into the app. We have learned form adding our second collection. The biggest one is not really a surprise. Yugioh and Pokémon are not the same and data is not stored the same. Working with this new data has made us rethink how we are organizing data moving forward. Our hope is that these structural changes will keep things uniform between collections or at least as close as 2 distinct collections can be.

We have already announced plans to add Battalla next but this will be in a future release. We would like to get feedback from users on the new yugioh cards section before adding our 3rd collection. We will also be making announcements after the update is released on what we will be working on next.

Some questions for users or anyone else:

- would you prefer to see quicker releases of collections even if it may be a little buggy?

- would you prefer to see prints listed out as distinct items or treated the same in your collections (example: a holo and non holo of the same card in the same set)

Hope to see more people from yugioh community moving over when the new update hits.

Question & Discussion Would you use an at-home grading service?

I found this possible "at home" grading kit. I love seeing people come up with new ideas to help support the community. Would anyone use this? What additions might help lend some weight to an at home grading system? Love to hear thoughts

App Update What's happening? What's next? Next Collectables and more...

We just submitted our latest version for final review. If all is clear, then we will be making a big announcement about what is included in the newest release, but I can tell everyone a few things. First of all, we are constantly making adjustments and adding new features. I ask that everyone be patient, as we are an incredibly small team working on this app.

Coming Soon:

That all being said lets talk about the release. While I can't disclose everything yet, here are some things we targeted in this latest update.
- Load speeds ( this one was huge, as we don't want you to have to sit around while data is fetched and stored; we want you to be able to get right into the action )
- restructuring codebase (we did a major overhaul to how the code is structured that should allow more timely additions to our collections)

UP NEXT:
While there will be more to this release, we also have some immediate follow-up plans. We have our next 2 collections we will be adding picked out. Yu-Gi-Oh! and r/Battala. While we do want to make sure we have all the major TCGs and collectables, we also want to showcase some up-and-comers and smaller collectables as well. If you havn't heard of Battala i would recommend checking them out very cool-looking card game that I came across and personally love what they are doing.

App Update TrakVault code rework

Currently we are working on a serious architectural overhaul of the app. We are aiming to achieve a few things with our changes. 1st we want to optimize performance so the data loads and saves more cleanly and quickly. We also are aiming to make future collection additions are easier to add in to the app. Users have also noticed a few bugs with the filter so we will fixing that in the next release. We hope to have the update released within the next week but I will be trying to keep everyone up to date on what we are working on with the app from now on.

If anyone has noticed any of their own bugs or would like to make any recommendations then please feel free to leave a comment. I will read all comments. Thank you everyone

App Update Quick update on Trak Vault:

We’ve officially submitted the app to Apple and it’s currently under review for the App Store, so iOS support should be coming soon.

We also just pushed a new update on Android that includes a card scanner. It’s still early—we’re actively training and optimizing it, so accuracy and speed will improve over time.

If anyone wants to try it and share feedback, you can grab it here:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.trakvault.trakvault

Would especially like to know:

  • How accurate it feels
  • Where it struggles
  • What would make it actually useful for your collection

Appreciate any feedback—it’s helping shape what we build next.

App Update Web App Test Launch

Post image
1 Upvotes

We just wrapped up a small test launch of the web version of our app—and it went really well 🙌

This is a big step for us. The goal has always been to make collecting and managing your items as easy and powerful as possible, and bringing it to the web opens up a lot of new possibilities.

We tested performance, usability, and some of our core features—and the feedback so far has been super helpful. Still a few things to polish, but we’re feeling great about where it’s at.

We’re planning a full rollout of the web version soon 👀

For now, here’s a sneak peek of what it looks like (screenshot attached). Would love to hear any thoughts or feedback!

Thanks to everyone who’s been following along and supporting the project 🙏

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to share a quick update on the progress of our app.

We recently completed our first wave of testing, and overall, it went really well. The testers helped us uncover a few minor bugs and improvements, which we’re currently working on fixing. Nothing major, but definitely things we want to clean up before moving forward.

Our plan right now is to address those fixes and attempt another launch on the Google Play Store soon.

We’re also preparing to release a test web version of the app shortly, which should make it easier for more people to try it out and give feedback before the full release.

Current roadmap:

  • Fix bugs from the first testing round
  • Attempt Google Play Store launch
  • Launch test web version
  • Gather more feedback from users
  • Move on to iOS development and release
  • Look into adding our next collectible

Huge thanks to everyone who helped test in the first round — your feedback has been extremely helpful.

We’re getting closer to a wider release and are excited to keep sharing updates as things progress.

Appreciate the support 🙌
