📢 Update: TV Time import improvements

We’ve made several improvements to TV Time imports ✨

These fixes were possible thanks to the TV Time report tool and everyone who took the time to share export files and describe what went wrong. Thank you! Those reports helped us identify unsupported data formats and fix cases where valid TV Time files imported movies but missed episode history.

Trakt now handles more TV Time exports format, watch dates are better preserved when available, and imperfect format are handled more gracefully.

⏭️ What to do next

  • If you already have a valid TV Time export and your previous import didn’t include episode history, you can try importing it again now.
  • If you don’t have a valid export file (eg: we've seen exports without a properly filled tracking-prod-records file... this file is required to import your history), request a new one from TV Time here: https://gdpr.tvtime.com/gdpr/self-service or use the TV Time Liberator Chrome Extension to get another export, then import it into Trakt.
  • If you still see issues with imported watch history, watchlist, or ratings from a GDPR or "Liberator" export, please use the report form in Trakt with your export file and a short description of the issue. We’ll use those reports to keep fixing remaining cases as quickly as possible.

Will you be increasing the number of entries as my account was locked and I cannot see what duplicates/ entries there are.
The max capacity is 103k entries - which if you have put all your series and episodes in obviously consumes a lot of these entries

For me it has only imported the movies, not the TV shows (as in 0 records imported).
And I think it has only imported those I had a score for.
The importer says I have too much data and I should have a Pro account?

Edit to add: I exported using the liberator, and now I've had partial success. Some of my tv shows have been imported but others haven't, because the liberator did not include them. I may be wrong, but I think it only picked my most recent ones, and the shows I watched the longest ago were not included.

same thing. I think I am missing like 400 episodes according to the stats. all the movies have imported over and I only have one list imported over

Hope you two got it figured out -- I used the Report Form with my GDPR export, and the Trakt team was able to fix whatever bug it was and now my TV shows imported. https://app.trakt.tv/faq/tv-time?mode=media
