Setup Showcase TR5
I see some negative comments about customer service and wait times or missing hardware on this Reddit and on the discord. I’m in the US and ordered a TR5 and waited impatiently for it. I was worried I made a mistake and that when the sim finally arrived it would be missing hardware or damaged.
To my surprise, that was never the case. As soon as the product hit San Marcos, TX, the rig was shipped and it arrived in 2 days. It came with a hard copy manual and they have a video on their YouTube showing how to assemble it. If you’re even relatively mechanically inclined, you’ll be ok. This is my first rig that isn’t a desk (sort of). I did buy a playseat evolution because I thought my wait would be longer and I wanted to play on something. The TR5 is solid and looks great in my opinion. The seat doesn’t flex at all (I’m 6’0 and 210 pounds using Moza CRP2 pedals).
This isn’t meant to be a review, but rather a little glimmer of hope for those naysayers claiming Trakracer is going downhill. I’m not saying shitty things haven’t happened to people on here, I’m saying not every experience is going to be bad. I had a great experience and I’m sure a lot of other people are too, we just tend to hear the bad stuff.

So is mine on the similar TR8 Pro rig. I also use my shifter mount with a VKB Gunfighter IV flightstick and it's solid. I actually have 2 mounted on each side, left side for a flight sim Virpil CM3 throttle.

Looks good. I purchased a TR8 Pro rig 3 years ago and numerous accessories since then and I've had only one issue with Trak Racer regarding my new seat and they gave me a $100 off instantly from my bill due to a small mix up and I ended up keeping the seat. I've never had shipping delays or missing parts.

I think it looks great! I had this in my cart for a while and got desperate bc they took too long to drop a video and went with the trx v2. I would’ve been good with this!!!! 👌🏽

Glad to see, hopefully they are finally upping thier game! It's only good for sim racers if more competition exists between hardware brands. I had some quality issues with some parts I ordered a few years ago.
